I had the matcha latte (3.5/5 stars), HK iced coffee (2/5 stars), and the HK Milk Tea with boba (2.5/5 stars). Everything was overly milky, almost no coffee or tea taste. To start the matcha latte was nothing special, I honestly feel that I could make a better and cheaper matcha latte with my “premium” ceremonial grade matcha at home. The HK iced coffee, looking back at it, I think we accidentally received the milk coffee version. It was basically a not as strong version of Vietnamese coffee. The Milk Tea boba, was basically milk with boba. The tea flavor was honestly non existent, but the boba was very good. Overall: 2.5 / 5 stars (>3 / 5 stars)
My HK ice coffee was okay. Other drinks were also average.
Matcha tea is popular here! I think it’s okay. Boba was sold out, so I had grass jelly instead. The environment is really nice!
True tea from leaves. Boba was a good texture. They have fruit teas in addition to matcha drinks. The tea flavor was a little lighter than what I remember last time I went. You can customize drinks to various sweetnesses and ice levels.

I love this place!!! A go-to as it’s close by to campus and they have amazing teas. Try their matcha teas and their treats are also great!
Hojicha Latte with Boba($5.75 + 1 for large)Although popularly known for their Matcha Latte, their Hojiacha Latte is really good as well. On the outside, the packaging is not flashy and does look similar to aesthetic specialty drinks other cafes have as well. But I can assure you the taste is very much on point as well!The Hojicha Latte is a Japanese green tea base with whole milk (or other choice of milk). It has everything you could possibly want. It’s sweet and creamy and the added boba is still warm, soft yet chewy. The Hojicha base is slightly smoky and you could still taste the fragrance of the tea - evidently something that is actually difficult to find in many boba cafes here. Although I would probably still have less sweetness in this drink, it’s still a very good drink that would make me come back to try out other flavours as well!!
The best Boba in Berkeley! They make their own boba and it is lightly sweetened when they make it, which I much prefer compared to other boba spots in the area. They also have great selection of teas and very nice tea accessories. Great gifts for the tea lover in your life!
