my favorite gelato place in the Bay Area! staff are nice and friendly; various delicious and seasonal gelato flavors! rose, mango/lemon sorbet, pistachio are my all time favs. I had the banana something once and that was amazing too!
Amongst the best gelato in the area. We drive in regularly from SF with friends who come in from SJ just for this gelato!
Visited it once. Asked to taste one of the flavors. They flat out refused to. I understand covid precautions but I think they are using that as an excuse not to give samples. How is one expected to explore flavors without tasting! Flavors can not be experienced just by reading names. Until they change their practice of business I’ll not be going there.
Went on a weeknight with colleagues. The gelato was half melted when they made it. I was really disappointed. I lived in Europe for years so I know my gelato
when I started at Berkeley High I thought I’d go in since it was close, and it’s been my favorite food place in downtown ever since. Always very nice and helpful staff, delicious and unique flavors, very cute and clean space. dare i say, best frozen dessert in the bay!
First time trying gelato here. 2 min after being handed my cup, I accidentally dropped my cup. I cleaned the floor and disposed of filled cup. Tall bald guy serving did not even offer to replace my cup of gelato. I shared my friend’s and left. Very unfriendly, unkind, and incredibly impolite experience. Will not be back.
This place was really good, the customer service was great! It’s really clean in this place, they even have ice creams for dogs. I don’t think they allow pets inside, almost sure of it, and the doggie pops was in a separate freezer off to the side. I recommend this place!!!
Absolutely fantastic chocolate icecream! Second someone else's review that this was the best icecream they've had in the US - this chocolate flavor was the absolute best I've had. My partner was not so lucky with their flavor choices though. Still, 10/10 would recommend.
Avoid this place because the hours of operation are meaningless. Tried to get some gelato, but the handwritten sign on the door said "Back in 5".... Well 20 minutes later, still not back and a gelato hungry crowd waiting outside. Needless to say, we left. Very disappointing and unprofessional. No way to run a business!
I loved their strawberry gelato which was dairy free. They had 2 other dairy free options and lots of traditional gelato flavors.
