Both times ive been here it took over 30 minutes for a small personal pizza. The second time, they lost my order for 25 minutes and then took another 25 to make it. If you want to wait an hour for your food, walk northside to La Val's and dont eat it until you get back to southside. Or better yet, work at a middle management position for 30 minutes, make enough money to buy a pizza, and then go to Sliver and get more (and better) pizza for the same price without having to wait nearly as long. Also insanely mid.
Walked in for a slice and got charged to wait since i needed a refund. The cashier took my order for a slice of pizza and said "its heating up in the oven.". Meanwhile there was another gentleman who came in and ordered a slice about 4 min after me and recieved his slice instantly from the new fresh pizza that came out. I instantly went up to the counter since i was order #30 and he was #32 as she called out. I was notified that my pizza slice was still in the oven even though there was a new fresh pizza out and slices were already being sold to customers after me.I asked for me refund and then the cashier asked if i wanted a fresh slice from the pizza that she just sold from. I politely declined to only recieve $5.86 refunded when i was charged $6.77. The "manager" the cashier asked for also took my receipt rudely which i found odd since ive been running a retail shop for 4 years and always gave receipts with refunds.Worst business and customer service I've ever experienced when i was low key excited since i haven't been back to the old "blondies" location in a while. I guess that's just how Abe's pizza does business.I do not recommend this place.
Abe's pizza (now Blondie's) proudly states nothing has changed. One bite of their cheese and mushroom pizza takes me back to the 80s when blondies was famous for their platter size slices. The pizza was delicious and the experience delightful. The fresh airy crust is not everyone's favorite but I am a fan. Their pizzas have good quality cheese and a subtle tomato sauce. I give it a definite thumbs up.One note: their menu offers hot link sausage. Not sure if it's the stuff you get at Costco or the typical Italian sausage you typically see on pizzas.
It's definitely different than all the pizza placesIt's different you should tryAnd you'll be hooked lol
LOVE THAT THEY HAVE VEGAN CHEESE! IT'S SO GOOD TOO, not just some store bought shredded vegan cheese that tasted yucky. It's truly creative and DELICIOUS.
Got a vegan cheese pizza and they didn't cover the pie fully...I thought if I was paying extra on top of the base price of a medium pie that I would at least get the bare minimum for a pizza..
First off want to say that the customer service at the front was great. Very friendly.Upset at the fact that multiple other business' near this one dont require any proof of vaccination to eat in and this one does. I cant eat inside if I dont show my vaccination card, but I can wait inside the establishment for 15 minutes waiting for my pizza. On top of that, I cant eat inside because of not having a vax card, so I have to pay extra for a to-go box. Logic :/Pizza also was not at all worth the hype. Pepperoni pizza had almost no cheese on it, and more bread than any normal person could eat, the crust was 3 inches thick. The BBQ chicken pizza tasted like chicken with straight sugar sauce. I could not finish a bite of it because it was so sweet.Hope they turn out for the better and decide to make their own decisions that are good for them and not follow orders.
really under cooked and watery pizza, their staff is unfriendly as well, not recommended!!
Payed 17.99 for two slices and two drinks. They charged a dollar extra for a to go box. Waited 25 minutes for the slices and they were burnt, the cheese on the slices were slipping off, they weren’t flavorful either. I am unsatisfied. It was horrible nothing like blondies aka what it used to be.
The Godzilla sized pizza is the perfect deal for anyone looking to buy for large gatherings. One pie is very affordable, with many choices of toppings. The dough is fluffy and well-seasoned and you can actually taste the tomato sauce instead of the usual overwhelming amount of cheese from other pizza joints.
