Located at 7th st and Grayson. Street parking only. The restaurant is small for indoor, but I see they have larger out door space at the back(not sure it belongs to them).There is not too many choices on the menu, I can't say it is bad or good. Depends how you think about. But they can make themselves easier to make, shorten the wait time, better taste, etc. I would suggest if they can offer gluten free choices for the menus items. Maybe they have already? I didn't ask about. If they do, they could charge more for that. I don't see why not. LoL.Anyway, I ordered "7&Grayson", and "breakfast". They taste good, the shape of the hash brown is kinda unique. Coffee smell strong. The service is great. Service make me feel like a tiny bit in a high end restaurant.

Some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Super fresh and nicely battered chicken, and the pancake was ready to take in all the syrup, spicy sauce (if that’s your thing, which I highly recommend), and other seasonings. Mixed together very very nicely.The place itself is pretty quaint and intimate. Really enjoyed just having a relaxing breakfast there. Would absolutely go again when I go back to Oakland.
I have been meaning to try this spot for some time. They are know for their chicken and waffles but they serve other breakfast items as well. I ordered the Tommy Boy and it was amazing. One the best breakfasts I have had in recent memory. Coffee was good too! I found the prices to be fair as well given the portion size. Will be back!
Been here twice. Good chicken waffles, but they have the smallest steak for steak frites. Steak tastes meh. The service was terrible and the wait was extremely long. It took us 1 hour to get our orders, and we were only a party of 2. Will not come back again.
Great place for chicken and waffles. This place gets really busy on the weekends. The service isn't great. But the food makes up for the wait.
I definitely recommend the chicken and waffles with gravy. This is one of my favorite places for breakfast in the East Bay. It gets busy on weekends.
