Our family has been going to the Union Hotel Restaurant & Bar for years. It's one of our favorites in Benicia! The owner and his daughters are usually working. They are lovely and clearly put a lot of care into the menu and service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - delicious cocktails, salads, pastas and other mains, as well as desserts. It's also good value for money! Sit in the bar for a warm, casual experience or in the dining room which has a beautiful fireplace and traditional stained glass windows. P.S. it's a great spot to hold an event/party.

Hard to believe, that living here all my life, we have never been here for dinner. Not a lot of seating available, which is a bummer, but it is a very small dining area and does have some charm. Nanna took care of us and gave us very good service. 4 of us all agreed it was a good meal. The Filet, the Ribeye, the Gnocchi's, and Chicken dishes were rated from good to very good. Not sure who the bartender/cook was, but had a very good personality and helped make our stay enjoyable. We will return.
