We usually have a great experience at Sailor Jackâs, but this time the chowder was different (not good!), the entrees were not as well prepared as usual, and service was slow.

I had waited 15 minutes before the server took my order. A long wait. Food was tasty and nice. Then the server had trouble processing my coupon with Open Table.
The service was just o.k. we were in the converted parking lot, so the wait staff did not refill water glasses, bring requested items, etc. Logistics, but we were paying quite a bit for the meal. Location was incredible, food was a10 for all 4 of us.

This was our fifth visit to Sailor Jackâs, and it was as good as ever. They really know how to prepare crab sandwiches .and fish & chips!
Food was good and enjoyed the water view. Service was poor, waited for drinks and to order dessert for a very long time. My daughter had to ask for her drink 3+ times before receiving it. My husband ended up not getting dessert because it took so long to order. Didnât like the garbage placed 5ft from our table that was attracting flies. Not sure if restaurant was under staffed and/or if was due to a festival that was going on. We did have a reservation for 4:15 pm . Would recommend with some warning but not sure if I would return.
Server was professional and attentive but was assigned tables both indoors and outdoors which created extended wait times in service delivery. Would not order eggs Benedict again due to hollandaise sauce tasting odd. Willing to try again; lunch and dinner dishes have been satisfying during previous visits
My baked salmon was delicious however my server, the bartender Francisco, never came back to ask if everything was all right after we got our dishes. Normally he is friendlier, perhaps he was having a rough day. He didnât seem happy yesterday.
Sunday Brunch. Great food. Lots of choices. Consistent quality.
Ordered drinks and food at the same time. My salad came out and we had to received drinks. Salad greens were not very cold and plate was not chilled. My fries were not hot and fried prawns were soggy. Wife fish and chips had soggy fish. Was not clean table was sticky. Awesome view at sun set.
