Delicious coffee and orange ricotta cake, great use of orange blossom water. The cornetti, definitely worth the carbs. I'm so glad we stumbled into this place. Check it out.June 21st. I picked up one of their lasagnas. I can't wait to try it. I just love this place. Everybody is so friendly.

Hidden gem on a side street in Benicia. Fantastic cafe run by an Italian family. Great cappuccino and nice little Italian market for pasta and other items. Perfect place to enjoy a bite and coffee and enjoy the outdoor patio on a sunny day.
The food is good but the presentation could be better. Wine was served in a water glass and the polenta in a take away container. Feels like a cafeteria. If they just try to improve bathe presentation a little bit more the experience will be miles better.
A visit to Benicia is not complete without dinner, lunch and breakfast at Amore! You can taste the authentic Italian love and care in every delectable bite. The cappuccino and pastries make the absolute perfect breakfast.
Wonderful Italian bed and breakfast with delicious food and drinks! Every drink I've had here has been absolutely amazing. The food is very good too! Highly highly recommended!
The coffee is amazing, very smooth. The best coffee I have had in a long time and IMHO, hands down THE best coffee in Benicia. The Cornetto's are baked fresh right there every morning. I cannot explain the flavor, they just melt in your mouth. The Cornetto sandwich is also good if you want something a little more. We usually have the sandwich or just the Cornetto and coffee for breakfast. Later on in the day, Gnocchi is VERY good. Very filling and difficult to finish. The atmosphere is very charming - inside or outside. The Italian family that runs it are also very nice. My favorite place in Benicia to meet friends.
Excellent tasty food in a customer service oriented atmosphere. I had the breakfast croissant with cheese and prosciutto, which tasted very light and fresh. Also, ordered a piece of pesto lasagne to take home to split with my husband for lunch. Upon his first bite he said he wished he didn't have to split it with me. It was incredible, been thinking of going back for another piece.... all to myself this time!
