This is my third time trying this place and I'm not a huge fan. I know it has good reviews and people love it and I was so hoping to be one of those people. My first time I got the bbq pork belly bowl and it was okay, 3/5. The rice was good, but the pork seemed a little over cooked for what pork belly normally is and very crunchy/hard. This time I tried the loaded MFK Tater Tots with crunchy pork, except they didn't have tots so they gave me fries. It sounded super good and I was looking forward to it, but it was terribly oily and I know I asked for crunchy pork, but everytime I have their pork I can barely chew through the crunchy bits. It's more hard/overcooked than crunchy! I really wanted to like this place because I love Filipino food and wanted to also try the Pancit and Lumpia, but I don't know I will now. I think my biggest problem with this place is that it is very overpriced and I don't feel like I'm getting what I paid for. I'm glad others like it, but I don't at this time.Photo: oily MFK fries
Service was quick and the food is amazing. Everything is fresh and flavorful.
If you want to try something new or just love Filipino food this is the SPOT!! 10 out of 10!!! You will not regret! I never do

Love their sisig! It was crispy, flavorful and exactly how I know sisig should be. Didn't order it with egg on top but it was fine without it.Also tried the lechon Kawali and the chicken inasal.The pork belly on that lechon kawali was spot on crispy.My food took a while to come out but I guess it was worth the wait.I think I now have a go-to place to feed my sisig cravings.
This is the best Filipino food in the So Cal area. The Sisig is super legit esp with an egg on top. It goes so good with a beer you can get from Four Sons.Also the fish blackened is quite delicious too.
I've been looking for good Filipino food for a long time. We tried both the sisig and the adobo and they were both mediocre. I think I've had better Filipino food from a take out place than here at half the cost.
I’m excited that a Filipino fast food is now part of a hip food hall like Steelcradt. Tried their bistek (beef steak Tagalog) rice bowl and chicken inasal combo last Wednesday. The price is reasonable and the servings are huge. I really love the marinade on the beef steak. The right blend of sour and sweet. And the beef was very tender too. The rice was cooked right. It’s nice that they include pansit ( Filipino chow mein) and lumpiang shanghai ( fried spring rolls) in their combos. I like the chicken inasal but maybe a little more flavor is needed.The chef and crew were really friendly too. I’m just happy that they are in Bellflower serving good Filipino fast food.One minor comment. Hope they have a visible menu ( or if it’s changing, have a chalkboard outside). Just that my mom went one time but she didn’t know how to access the menu on her phone. And also for those who are not really that keen about new technology.Overall, i’m excited about MFK!
Let me start off with I’m amazed how long it took you guys to open up today... At first I was really upset for waiting nearly 2:30 hours for you to open since I was there at 11:30 am when it says you open at 12. We checked your page before heading over. Should definitely update people better on Instagram that’s coming from a regular as I Would always come to your Anaheim location before it burned down just glad everyone was safe. After not eating breakfast and waiting for you to open I didn’t care anymore about the food anymore . It wasn’t until my fiancé ordered the food for us that I remembered the reason I come here. Customer service was amazing as always . Food was amazing as always . Will continue to go over there from Anaheim until the Anaheim location is open again. Just don’t make us wait to long again. Glad you all god the vaccination for COVID. I came from Anaheim to Downey for your food ! Haha
