A good place to halt on route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The dining areas are modeled like train cars which kids enjoy. The service was quick, and the restrooms were decent. There are many other shops attached which sell souvenirs, and other restaurants as well. Nothing to complain about based on 2 recent visits. Food tasted the same as every other McDonald's.
The McDonald's is in the train and half of the place is extremely hot and had dirty floors/spilt/sticky stuff. The other half of the train was cool but still the floor was the same as described above. Things were over priced and the quantity/quality was not as good as it used to be. They did not have enough staff in some of the shops thus creating long lines and a few grumpy people. I would not refer or go back. It has truly gone down hill over the last 20years.
Hilarious that they will kick you out for loitering for 30 minutes but they won't kick out the homeless person right by the entrance.It's disgusting inside. Dirty floors everywhere. We see where their priorities lie.
I placed a mobile order which took nearly a half hour to get. I selected curbside pickup yet I had to go in to get my food. They were not busy, they were understaffed requiring orders to be made on the kiosks bc they didn’t have anyone on register. I could have saved time by going to a different location. The app says they have mobile pickup yet the 1 and 2 spots are not in a safe spot to park only 3 is without having to wait thru the drive thru.
I don't know what happened to the service here. We would come here and eat EVERY time we've been on our way to Beaumont. We treated like NONpaying customers. And I can't believe that you need a CODE to use the restrooms! We also HAD to ask for ketchup and straws for our drinks. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. I guess it's time for a NEW travel tradition ☹️
This Mcdonalds regularly forgets large portions of your order. I have been living here since 2016 and it seems like every other time something is missing. They forget main pieces. I suggest pulling every single piece of your order out of the bags and inspect for each item if you care about receiving it all. When I do call them from my house, they do not answer the phone or they put me on hold for 20 minutes.
Menu wasn’t working in the drive thru which is fine, things mess up sometimes. But the attitude of the “supervisor” who came outside to check it out was disgusting. Her exact words were “Do you NEED to see the menu?” and “Yeah, it’s just not working. We can’t fix it, just pull it up online or something.” The dude that took the order was very friendly tho. The younger Caucasian girl that gave us our food at the second window was also very sweet
DO NOT DINE HERE!!!There are a dozen people currently here who have been waiting for more than half an hour. There are individuals who have missed their bus due to the horrible and slow service.They have broken several health codes since my arrival and actually charged us for a glass of water, which is flat out illegal in this state. On top of that, they added this charge knowing that their water dispenser is broken and did not inform us until after the purchase was made.On top of all of this, they completely butchered our order.This place should be investigated at minimum, this is entirely unacceptable and is by far the worst fast food place I've been to in a very long time.
Ordered a combo. It was entered wrong. Before I walked away noticed I didn't have fries. I mentioned I didn't have fries and they said I wasn't charged. The manager or crew leader, whatever he was, was very rude and just blamed it on new employees(multiple times). Asked if I wanted to pay for them. I was willing to until they told me it would be $4.56 for them, which I refused do. I will not eat there again.
Great break for the whole family. Great to have lots of good options on. Kiosks are available to order from inside. Fun souvenir shopping insure as well. Out family always stops here on our vacations.
