I just discovered this place yesterday. I stopped by after work and got 2 orders of asada fries to go. Everybody was very friendly! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Nice music playing in the parking lot.The food is incredible! HUGE portions at great prices! I've spent more money on a couple of orders of nachos at a local fast food place. I'll never do that again now that I know about La Mesa! I would gladly pay twice as much due to the superior quality!Fast, friendly service, some of the most wonderful flavors I've ever tasted and it's just right down the road?! You better believe I'll be back! You just scored a loyal customer! I copied down the contact information so I can call ahead next time I order to go! Thank you all for a great experience!
We were passing through Barstow and found this place. Excellent ratings and they deserve them! The food was SO GOOD. Don't be afraid to get off the beaten path, La Mesa really isn't that much out of the way and it is so worth it. The entire staff was so friendly. I had questions about some items and the whole place chimed in to help. It was a wonderful experience. They were even kind enough to bring our order to the parking lot when it was ready.
La Mesa is a great little local place where the Mexican food is made with love and passion. I had 3 street tacos with rice and beans, soo good!

We just ordered some food from here (asada fries & asada stuffed sopapilla) and it's so good! 100% would recommend if you're looking for flavorful Mexican food try this place. We'll definitely be going back.
Customer service was really good they were super nice . They were very accommodating to special request , order came out fast .We got Tacos , Carne asada fries and a Burrito for our order . The food smelled really good , it had really good taste . Everything was really fresh and they have really good green salsa . Will be coming back !
