My friend and i came here about 2 wks ago for simple lunch. We paid the tab plus about 12% tip. When i checked the cc statement i saw this restaurant charged 15% tip. Not a big money but i do feel they are sneaky. Be fair their food taste ok.
Came back with the family on a Friday night. It’s a good think I knew they had a Yelp waitlist and got on it ! This place has gotten really popular, and I am not surprised! Their noodle soup offering are very unique and there is no other restaurants like this. We all got to try a noodle soup we had not have before. If course we had to have the spicy beef and tripe and popcorn chicken! We tried #1, 2, 8 and 9. First time getting #1 and 2. #1 tastes similar to 15 with the green peppers. #2 was really good and similar to Dan Dan noodle with peanut/sesame butter in the sauce. My daughter really enjoyed the non spicy #8. We love the rice noodles in soups!!
Our first time coming here. Recommended by a few students we met at UCIrvine. Noodles were fresh and broth flavorful. We had the #12 which was spicy but the heat didn't linger in your mouth. Gave me a bit of the sweats but sooo worth it. The brown sugar rice cakes was a nice, simple dessert to end our lunch. We'll be back.
Super fast service on a Friday night. We tried Braised beef noodle, Huaxi Beef rice noodle & Beef noodle with pickled pepper, some people say they are too spicy, but I didn't think so. The portion are good, but they still could have put in a little more noodles. Remember to try their side dishes, we had the potato string and cured tofu, yummy.
