Really Disappointed. I orderd Garlic Naan bread and Chicken with Rice. The Sauce had absolutely no Flavor at all. Which destroyed the whole meal. I was hoping the Naan bread could save my Lunch but the Naan was Dry and Flat like a Cartboard ?‍? I spent 25$ for a Meal for one Person that was absolutely terrible. The Staff was Friendly & The inside of the Restaurant is nice and clean as far as I could tell but that dosent help if the Food was lame.

Probably the worst place to have your food except you have so much of free time. It took 20 minutes to get a mango Lassi, 30 minutes to get Dahi k Kabab, and 1 hour 20 minutes to get the main course. So basically I wasted 1 hour 45 minutes to have lunch when restaurant was almost empty.Food review:Lassi was not at all good.Dahi k Kanab was not that great.Main course did not worth the money.

This is the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. The chicken tikka marsala was tasteless and the chicken was tough, the saag paneer was also tasteless...I ordered my food extra spicy and it was not close to spicy in fact it was blan. The nann was tough and no flavor although it was supposed to be buttered. The bashmati rice and zaffrani shrimp were the only items that were tolerable. That was a 70 dollar plus meal that taught me never to go by the highest reviews. Once I read the lowest reviews I knew I had made a mistake ordering from this place. I will use the rice for the dinner I am now going to prepare for my family because I will not offer them this stuff and tell them it's Indian quisine.

The food here is delicious! I loved the chicken pistachio entree and the the lamb pistachio! I definitely recommend anyone give this place a try. It’s very nice inside and their patio is beautiful as well. The employees there are very nice and helpful when you don’t know what to order. I tried 2 soups, one being tomato basil and they were both DELICIOUS! I’m Mexican American and their food really reminds me of some authentic Mexican foods (mole and birria) with their own Indian twist!! Delicious!!

The food is AMAZING. Staff is great. We’ve been coming here and ONLY here to get Indian food. The atmosphere is romantic, the staff is friendly. The butter chicken, girlllll. Good stuff. And very spicy. So be careful. Because they’re not scared to give you some good spice!Highly recommend. If it’s your first time order something to share with your person. The amount of food they give you is very generous. The bad reviews had me FLOORED, because I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place.

It took more than half an hour for a 15 minutes order!! Customer service was THE WORST!! Both the man that took my order and the girl who finally gave me my food were unprofessional and unapologetic to say the least!! The food ordered didn’t taste good at all!! If I could rate them less than a one star, I would gladly do so!! Indian bistro was way better with both customer service and tasty food!

Worst food I've ever had in my life. This place do not serve authentic Indian food. The server wanted to give us a discount for not delivering what we expected. But my reviews aren't on sale. Good luck if you are trying their food .I strongly do not recommend this place.

My family and I enjoyed our dinner here. The food and drinks are delicious! I will definitely come back again next time I'm in the Bakersfield area.

Worst food I’ve ever have service is really nice but food 0 out of 10 not a authentic indian food

A detour stop in Bakersfield late afternoon for Indian food travelling from vegas to bay area. Pleasantly surprised by the decor. Great ambience. Courteous staff. Owner Tejinder Singh made recommendations and claimed the Viceroy for was the only Indian fine dining in Bakersfield. Ordered plenty vegetarian and meat dishes. Amritsari fish, Tandoori Chicken, Rogan Josh, Butter chicker, aaloo gobi, daal makhni, matar paneer .. tandoori roti and laccha parantha.. topped with Taj mahal beer and masala chai. Gajar halwa to go..Quite a treat.. spices were mild though flavorful. Potato in aalo gobhi undercooked. Too much haldi (turmeric) leaves fingers yellow for a full day even after washing hands thoroughly. Recommended and enocurage visiting other fine dining to inspire and improve.
