For some reason valid Driver's Licenses from out of state aren't good enough to gain entry to a dive bar. Even though they're good enough to board an airplane. They apparently require your passport if you're from out of state. This policy has to make this the lamest dive bar I've been to in the 36 states I've been to.
At first didnt know what to make of it. In Bakersfield for the night looking for an LGBT friendly place. But the bartender was nice and made us feel very comfortable decided to stay they had a nice size outdoor patio where a dj played 90s infused mixed music it was great. Definitely a chill place people eventually started dancing. Liked it. Glad stayed a bit. And it def was lgbt friendly. Diverse crowd. But I didnt get any bad vibes

Awesome place if you wanna hangout with friends can get crowded on nights with dj's, and the bartenders are nice and try to get to everyones drinks in timely fashion. Bathrooms are clean and kept up
Great atmosphere and people. Great place to make some new friends and sometimes bands play out back.

Can't beat $7 tall can and a shot all day long. Oh and the Mexican candy shooters are perfect.
