I’ve ordered mild butter chicken multiple times from this establishment & there’s been times it came out spicy & never bothered me but this last time I ordered mild and even confirmed mild, and it received it at a high spice level that burned my mouth & throat & when I called to tell this they wouldn’t trade it out for a mild version. I couldn’t even eat it it was so spicy so that money went down the drain for nothing. For a establishment that wouldn’t take the old order that had all the food in tact to trade for my correct order. Never ordering from here again
Very very delicious food! So surprised. The place is not anything fancy looks like more of a truck stop but man the food is 10/10!If we ever visit California again we will def be stopping by. The staff was very nice and went above and beyond
Wow. So glad i found this place and did not judge by the outside. Vegetarian here and the mixed veggies in grave were AWESOME. Garlic Naan was fantastic. So good in the most random place. Do it!
Very yummy food! The outside of the place is rather austere, but the food is delicious. I really like their samosas.
Oh man! I'm so full right now but it was literally the best Indian food I've had. The chicken Tikka is the bomb, their mango lassi!!!!! Common man... The garlic naan is fire and ummm the portions are huge. Drivers if your tired of subway and all the other junk, come n get it!
When I came to this restaurant, the male at the cash register became frustrated because I was telling him I would like to order some food. He asked a female employee to service me. But when I asked if I can dine in, she said that I couldn't, even though there were other people already sitting in the restaurant waiting to be serviced. And they were still allowing people to of Indian descent to dine in. Her excuse was that they close at 10pm, the patrons were her last customers, and that cash registers are locked. However, they actually close at 1030pm as advertised on the front door. When I asked her about that, she said that those were people who prepaid or did door dash? I know the law, especially when it comes to customer service and running a Business. I could have taken it further with legal action, but I just take my business elsewhere.
I’ve been coming to this place for a very long time. Few times owners have changed but thankfully they all have maintained food quality all these years. Good job guys! Keep up the good work!
This is my absolute very favorite restaurant in all of Bakersfield and the Kern River Valley at that. Being vegetarian, we always have such a long list of choices from visually beautiful and amazingly delicious dishes, and we love that you can choose your level of spiciness… Almost creating a whole different dish every time. The prices are so affordable, allowing us to order a few times a week. We really miss being able to dine in at this time seeing as the service is top notch and we really miss seeing the smiling familiar faces there. We are truly blessed to live right up the street and this hidden Bakersfield gem. Do yourself a favor and visit this place...and then visit it over and over again, because I assure you you will never get tired of the delicious Indian spices, flavors, tastes, aromas and vibes coming out of this wonderful little place!

Place from outside doesn't looks like Indian restaurant, but don't go by looks, food was Delicious.It tastes like home cooked food, everything we ordered seemed fresh. We would definitely come again.
