There's plenty of bathrooms, the seats may be a little old but they're comfortable and kinda like bucket seats. The only part that is uncomfortable is that if people need to go through the space is too small. So either you move all the way out or you get stepped on lol. It's very pretty inside and out. The concession stand is always too packed to really get anything as well. The staff is helpful and friendly though. I love their kids movie day and going to concerts here. Oh and their flicks program(they showcase foreign movies)!
Wife and I like to attend concerts, special events at the Fox. Last week we saw Kenny G. Very intimate setting. Great acoustics for live music! We are so fortunate to have the Fox in Bakersfield.
The music was excellent and we could see KennyG very well.

Popcorn was great and in and out access was quick. Seating was too close together. Overall, it was a great historical experience.
Love coming here. Saw Clint Black for my second time. What a great show. He jammed on the guitar and was engaging and funny. His wife and daughter were also here and they sang beautifully as well. Will be coming back in February to see wild man Steve-O
Nostalgic? took me back in time
Saw Blue October here on Tuesday. Beautiful theater, friendly people. The popcorn tastes like cardboard.. don't buy it. The balcony was closed and that's what we bought tickets for, and we told we had to sit ground level.
Historic Fox theater in Bakersfield.? 1st time and found it has been restored beautifully. Saw 38 Special from the very back row. ???
It makes proud that Bakersfield has continued to find ways to support this iconic building. I wish it could be done for other buildings such as the old Train Station in old town Bakersfield.?
