We used Las Salsas banquet room for a baby shower. The room itself is kind of small we fit 40 comfortably. We were assigned a host who did an amazing job in serving and cleaning up after everyone. The one complaint I had was that the restrooms were unavailable for use, therefore we had to walk out of the room to their restaurant two doors down. Overall I would book again the food was excellent as always and prices were fair.

Horrendous customer service if your a black man don’t expect a proper greeting! I let it slide after I corrected the “hostess” because I remember their food being good. Well I paid $18.00 for the plate I took a picture of! You will never get another red-cent from me or anyone I know! Treat everyone with respect is a lesson decent people learn in elementary school! Let alone someone running a business!
Totally disgusting service ignorant “hostess” Since when did waitress become arrogant! These are the same people that cry to the world about mistreatment, but think they only have to be professional to “certain type of person”
This isn't my 1st time here and obviously I've liked the food. This visit was a little disappointing. I ordered the Carne Asada plate, my husband ordered the Chile Verde taco salad and my daughter had a Cheese Quesadilla with rice and beans. My dish looked really good when our server brought it but when I took my first bite, the saltiness of my steak was overwhelming!! Think the cook went happy with all seasonings! The rice was bland so I figured I'd offset it with my steak! I didn't want to make a fuss as they were so busy and didn't want to add to our servers load! My daughter enjoyed her Quesadilla but agreed on the rice and we weren't told that bcus she ordered her Quesadilla with rice and beans, it would be an extra charge?! My husband did enjoy his taco salad though. Overall, it wasn't a terrible visit just that I probably won't be ordering that dish again! But our server was pleasant and checked on us when she could. I had told her that I wanted to order homemade flour tortillas to take home and she forgot to add those at the end and when I tried to let her know, she was so busy with her other tables that we couldn't get her attention so after waiting for about 15 mins to get her to come back to our table, I decided that it wasn't a must so we got up to leave! The place is small and colorful, has TV going with a soccer game and music going and I can tell it's a place people like.
The food is good and the ladies who work the front desk and serve are very nice but take out orders are always wrong. No joke this is the 8th time this has happened. I’m a vegetarian and they always put meat in my food. Even when the ladies ask the cooks if the order is correct the cooks say yes. I shouldn’t have to unwrap my food to check. I have trust issues now and won’t eat here again.
Let me start off by saying hand made tortillas ok now this place was very tasty from the chips & salsa to our main dish. Fresh made salsa not that stuff from he store. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Bakersfield

Food is pretty good..A lil skimpy on the salsa tho. Bit overall good..Best in Bakersfield so far.
Good food. Friendly staff. Gets pretty packed at lunch time. Also the only place I know of in Bakersfield that serves discada, discada tacos.
