The food was great. Our server was attentive. Good atmosphere. Loved the bread and their blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever had. The red sauce on the chicken parmesan is the best ever.
My new favorite Italian spot in Bakersfield! Excellent service and really good food! Our server was awesome! See you again soon!
This place was beyond amazing. We didn't have reservations and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter Jhonny was superb. The food to die for. It ruined all other Italian restaurants for me lol. Also bc it was our anniversary our waiter gave us a complimentary dessert. Best lemon cake i have ever had.
We came for dinner on a busy Saturday night. We expected it to be busy, so we called ahead afor a table for 4, we were told 30-45 minutes. The hostess took my number and said she’d call when a table was available. We pulled up and after 45 minutes, went inside to check and were told it would be another 20-30 minutes. We understood, so we waited. When we were seated, everything went great. We were given menus, a bread basket was brought by, and the waiter cane to take our drink orders. For our entire table, I was the only person to order something other than water. As my husband was asking about a drink, the waiter walked away.Later, we ordered our food and my friend started to ask about a wine she wanted to order, but he again walked away.We got our food and my friend received the wrong order. She started to bring it up but our waiter disappeared again. At this point, I still hadn’t received my drink. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen, so I flagged down a different waiter to ask about my drink. My husband started to order his drink as well, but THIS OTHER WAITER ALSO WALKED AWAY!We were speaking loudly, so we know it wasn’t that we weren’t heard. I think it was busy, so they weren’t giving us their full attention, but it made an already disappointing experience even worse. We asked to split the check two ways and for to-go boxes. Someone else dropped off the check, it wasn’t split, and we had to flag someone else down for our boxes. No one returned to take the check, so I asked yet a different waiter whether we need to take it up or wait at our table and the waiter just grabbed the check and our card, then left.Overall, the ambience was nice but the food was mediocre, the service was awful, and it was definitely not worth the price we paid.If you’re looking for a nice experience with an attentive staff, I suggest you look elsewhere.Sorry, no photos since we were starving by the time the food actually arrived.
Wasn't too impressed with their spaghetti nor was my friend... But we had an amazing waitress... So was not worth the $$ tho. I will probably never go back or tell a friend. Prices are ridiculously high.. seriously $12-13 for a bowl a spaghetti with absolutely no meat...Hard Pass !! Salad was better then spaghetti .. I make better at home for a family of 5 for way less.. just sad
This is a great family owned restaurant. Sorella has a variety of pastas and steaks, it is difficult to choose what to get! This was 18oz ribeye with a side of pasta, it also comes with a soup. I recommend it for any specialty occasion or just for a great meal.
The atmosphere, music, and food was fantastic! We loved our server too! The ravioli and fettuccine are both delish.Their warm bread and butter is addicting!
First time coming here and it was great! Server Dio was very attentive and filled up our drinks without us asking. Zucchini appetizer was delicious. Salad was simple but so tasty. The ranch was the best! I had the chicken artichoke penne pasta. It sounds gross but let me tell you it was not nasty at all. It was thr BEST pasta I've ever had and I'm an olive garden kind of gal. This place was delcious. Husband had the steak and fettuccine. Steak was okay in flavor, fettuccine was creamy and had wonderful flavor. Hubs said he would buy the steak again due to lack of flavor and the price isn't shown for steaks on menu. It says market price which mean prices vary daily. He loved my pasta dish! I had a Shirley temple. I asked for a too go cup & I received a 32oz to go cup of deliciousness. My server was amazing!
We had a reservation for 6pm, didn't get seated until 7. The food was nothing special for the price. For $50+ seafood pasta plate, I would expect some fresh seafood, but it tasted like the frozen mixed seafood bag at Costco. Chicken Parm tasted like it had been sitting under a warming lamp since 7 am and was soggy under the lukewarm marinara sauce. Alfredo was especially sad. It resembled store bought jar white sauce on top of cold rinsed out fettuccine. They didn't even bother to heat the two together mixed on the stove. The only saving grace was that our server was especially nice and attentive.
Best Rib Eye in town! Friendly staff, love going there with friends and family!
