Took all my friends here lately. The food is always good and fresh with consistency and great flavor every single time
Tried this place tonight for the first time, and it was so good! My boyfriend and I were actually intending to drive over to a different restaurant, when we came to a stoplight and noticed this restaurant. We immediately went to try it out and have no regrets! We had the Papa Guapa and the Cocktail, and everything was flavorful, light, and tasted super fresh. We also had their Chocolate Horchata and we’re not disappointed. Highly recommend!
A huge THANK YOU to our friends at So-Cal Tamal! I am already a fan of their food personally, but I am even more impressed with their dedication to serve their surrounding community. I am a teacher at a nearby school from the Pacheco location. The owner was patient, flexible and ready to help us fundraise for our students. Food was delivered fresh, labeled properly to ensure the appropriate order went to the appropriate customer. On top of the absolute great service the food was DELICIOUS! I always get fish tacos or shrimp. Sometimes, empanadas de picadillo. I come here very often. At first food was very good, well presented, well cooked, but, it only lasted a few times.. Now, it's a hit and miss. You might get lucky getting good food. Most of the time the fish tastes as if they didn't rinse it and it takes as if they got it from the ocean and cooked it just like that. It's nasty!! Sometimes, the empanadas are burned. Food too salty or a poor presentation. Hardly given the veggies that come with. This last time the breaded of the fish was still raw from the inside. It was literally falling apart. I just didn't eat it. It was such a waste of money. Couldn't go back to return it, but, why should I ? They should be doing their job and give the food just like they advertised. Am seriously not going back anymore. AM DONE!
I order 2 quesadillas and they were burn ... I suggest to the owner to pay attention to their workers my self is alittle hard to eat outside the economy is not the same any more the only thing I need for my money is what I paid for. If by mistake they burn the tortilla get a different one simple I don't like to get home excited for my food and find this
The food is good but the girl taking orders needs to work on her attitude problem I would think that places when u order lots of stuff there happy they selling but no this girl was mad giving us dirty looks while we where ordering
I really loved the tamales and quessabirrias but today I went around 7pm and the lady that took our order seemed bothered that there was customers. I ordered quessabirrias and they were so salty it seemed like they dipped them in salt and they were really soggy. Last time I came we ordered a dozen tamales and the lady gave us the wrong type of tamales too. I don’t know if she just doesn’t like her job. I don’t look forward to going anymore. I hate to let go of a food place because of bad service. I like to spend my money at quality places.
I do recommend because most of everything I’ve tried is really good but today I tried their asada fries and they would be prefect if they added seasoning to the fries. I didn’t like them. Maybe I’ll ask for seasoning next time and try them again.
The food was really good. The location was convenient for us. They were friendly. This was our second time getting something here. Definitely coming back.
I ordered to go pick- up. This location is a food truck parked on District. Easy to order on the phone. I ordered 3 burritos, one horchata, and one champurrado. Delicious food and drinks.I'll recommend it if you want a quick bite.
