They made me a wonderful birthday cake that tasted so good and was so pretty. Our theme was jurassic world and they did an awesome job. Yellow cake with strawberry banana filling and chocolate frosting. Omg the cake was so delicious.

Good donuts. Give them an A+ for their old fashioned. One of the best I’ve had. Also give them 5 stars for longevity. They’ve been around for ever.
I think this place is seriously overhyped the quality is not great for both taste and aesthetics of the sweets. But I get it Bakersfield doesn't have much options or variety of bakeries to go to.

Grew up eating these DELICIOUS cookies and have passed the love for them down to my kids. Always a treat when I come back to Bakersfield and wished they would ship to other states. ❤️
This bakery has screwed up our phone in order twice. And the customer attendant was rude and unhelpful. Her name is Bree. She has multiple complaints and still continues to work the front counter and enter act with customers. I will never due business with Smiths again.
Been buying Smiths baked goods/donuts for over 30 years. I remember when those conveyer belt donuts came to town, everybody said "ooh". They're gone. Smith's is/was/will always be the best. Champagne cake-yumm, caramel covered brownies, smiley face cookies, apple-strudel, twists, you can't go wrong. My doctor might not agree, never did like him though.
I don’t understand why everyone raves about the sugar cookies?? I was passing by town and decided to stop by to grab a pastry for my coffee.I picked up a sugar cookie and ended up throwing it out after the first bite.It was bland and the icing tasted weird.You can get better at stater brothers.Line was also long and workers were in a bad mood.
What is the deal with your strong tape? You're making it difficult for me to eat cookies while I drive. Ugh!
