Whenever I have the craving for some good pasta & shrimp ? I come here. Shrimp is always plump & juicy & pasta is delicious. The salads are delicious & they gave us plenty of bread & always refilled our drinks for us when we got low. We had a wonderful experience yet again. Service was nice & friendly & our waitress checked in on us 3 times to make sure everything was good with our food ..drinks .. appetizers. This is a nice quiet little place to eat where you can just pop in anytime for some really delicious food. I've eaten the pepperoni pizza ? ? & it's delicious everytime. Garlic bread is yummy as well. I've also had their canoli for dessert that has chocolate chips on both ends embedded into the cream. The pastry is nice & crispy & light. I've also had their spaghetti ? as well & it never has disappointed me. Delicious ..every bite.The prices are fair & worth it because everything I have had here was pretty great. I love that I don't have to drive all the way to the Olive Garden when I want some quick pasta lol.. I can get it here close to home ?. I love the location because it's just a heartbeat away from my house. There is a very convenient handicap ♿️ parking space right in front of Little slice of Italy ?? & I've been lucky enough to get that spot everytime I come here. So I don't even have to walk far at all to get inside. It's a great little spot to eat & their menu is has lots of delicious items & desserts. Just check out their photos of some of thr dishes they serve. Thats what i did when I first decided to try them. ✌?
Did not feel like cooking for the night and did not want to get dressed up however we did not sacrifice on the flavor. When in doubt go with everything (sampler) and happy with it. The bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks were the highlight: crispy, stringy cheese and great with ranch or marinara sauce. The wings were a little disappointing: felt they would have been better if friend and not baked. The pizza was one of the best I have had in town: crispy crust, chewy dough, fresh toppings and great sauce (I did not even use ranch).The service was attentive and super friendly and took the experience to the next level.
The pizza tasted so amazing and they fit every flavor pallet you want. The service is amazing! If you have time for dessert get the ice cream chocolate chip cookie!

If you're looking for great food, atmosphere and amazing staff look no further. They offer a variety of foods for those individuals wanting something other than pizza. Wether you are dinning in or ordering to go you got to give this place a try. Hands down for the Rosedale side of town Slice of Italy has the best pizza, pasta and atmosphere and staff around.
Amazing service! There was a mix up in the kitchen but the staff took care of us. They made sure we were good the hole night and stayed on top of things! Definitely coming back! Delani (hoped I spelled her name right) and Maia were amazing!! Definitely ask for them when you go in!
You know, it's too bad that I have to leave a review like this because the food here is good. However, I have phoned in and picked up orders the three times I have eaten their food, and exactly two of those times, the phone order, though read back to me correctly, was incorrect when I received the food. I never wrote anything the first time, but tonight, it seems as though it's a pattern. I called in for a spaghetti and meatballs, and for a lasagna. I also told the order taker on the phone that I wanted extra bread, rather than the normal two they give you with a two plate order. The man on the phone told me, "You bet, I'll make that happen when they prepare your order." I arrived and paid for my food, and before the same man who took the order went back to get the food, I asked him, "Now, would you please make sure that the extra bread is with the order as well?" I shouldn't have had to ask that, but I did. And yet, when I got home with my order, there was no extra bread. The time before this, I had asked for extra meatballs, which I didn't receive. The unfortunate thing for me is that as I paid on the screen, I gave a tip to the restaurant, which is unnecessary for a pick up order. But I thought it was a nice thing to do. Now I wish I hadn't given the tip, because the staff is somehow not detail oriented enough to make sure orders are right by double checking them.
This is a mixed review but I want to give them credit where it is due.We ordered through DoorDash and only received half of our order. We called SoI and they said they would give us what was missing. We offered to pick it up and they insisted that they would deliver it which we thought was nice considering they were not the original deliverers. Based on other reviews, it seems their quality control could use some work and I am not sure if the fault was on SoI or DD but props to SoI for going out of their way to fix it.The food is average. Better than the low end chains (Little Caesars, Dominoes, etc) but not on par with Rustys or some of the other better places, in my opinion.Got a lot of food for the price so we would order again if needing to feed a lot of people.
My mom and I love slice of Italy we always order the lasagna they cook it perfect Everytime and our favorite waitress is Kaylee she is very special to us! Thank you Kaylee for always making us feel welcome thanks again mom And Michelle. 11/26/21
Appetizers are really delicious. Drinks are strong and tasty. Bartender gave good service. :)
