The food was amazing, the waitress was very nice but you can tell they have no support system. No one helping the waitress on the floor set them back from attending to coffee and bringing sides and extra napkins.
First time at this place and I’m not impressed. We went in at around 12pm on a Friday. It wasn’t very busy maybe 5 tables, most of which already had their food. Service was pretty slow. We ordered a burger and French toast combo. It took at least 25-30 minutes before we got our food. Food came out slightly warm, tasted okay but nothing special about it. I ordered the burger medium and it came out pretty well done. There are definitely much better restaurants in Bakersfield.
Had a Cobb salad which was very delicious, my server CeAnn was very gracious. But saying all that the other waitresses seem willing to help each others customers to stop by and help to make sure you had coffee or iced tea their names were Gretchen and faith look forward to going back!
It is unfortunate that I am writing this. We have been coming to this diner for a few years now at least three times a month. Came in on Sunday end of February, we were seated quickly and hostess got drink. coffee was burned and our attempts to get someone's attention went unanswered. Waited close to 15 min and never saw a waitress and someone who was seated after us had already received their food. So we left.The owner who we talked to regularly was not there. Called a couple times to speak with the owner. However, each time they were not in. Called again today and was told they don't know when the owner would be in and didn't know when the manager would be in Nd would t take a message. So the last step is to write this since the staff doesn't care and the owners are not available . Horrible that their service has gone down hill. I hope it gets better
I only came here thinking I could get some basic diner fare and unlimited coffee as I had some work to do and time to kill before a flight. So I posted up in a booth with my Chromebook and was pleasantly surprised to see they had huevos rancheros on special. I rolled the dice but hit it big as this was DEAD ON and even came with a side of pinto beans. This is the food I love to eat. Very pleasant servers - this place is a gold mine. Highly recommended.

When I was in the military I used to get Eggs Benedict with Turkey because I'm not crazy about ham. They were happy to make the changes. Friendly staff and quick service. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
One of the best breakfast places I know of. Steak and eggs always cook the perfection and they make my hash browns extra crispy just the way I love them and more than reasonable on the pricing. Love this place
Nice quiet place to get a breakfast during the week. Weekends maybe a different story. Food is good and the portions are decent. The only problem I had getting a refill on the coffee.
Really good. Friendly and attentive staff. CeAnn was our server and she was amazing. The skillets were good but it could have had more gravy. The Ruben sandwich was good. He said it was the best he's had. The French toast could have used a bit more egg in the batter but it had great flavor. Very pretty interior. The rest of the staff was very friendly from what I saw. The host was nice. All very pretty gals. Our first time but it wasn't for the ones we went with and we were definitely noticed as first timers and it was very nice to be noticed and appreciated. The prices were great for the food and style of this place. The food came out hot and on a timely matter and was plated and presented beautifully. Will definitely return
