Had tri tip and. Chicken both were excellent...along with the spicy mac and cheese. It was a lot of food! We got lucky and there was a small car show along with a band. Very enjoyable time. I will be sure to go back before i head home.
We went here because we saw it on DDD. The BBQ chicken was really good and my husband loved the BBQ Beef Ribs. The shredded pork was just okay. I thought the coleslaw could use a little more seasoning, tasted a little bland for me. They give you a small amount of extra BBQ sauce and you have to pay for more. I'm glad we went but not sure we would go out of our way to go again.
I brought my wife to this spot not knowing what to expect but let me tell you I was not disappointed. I had the Salty’s special with the spicy Mac and absolutely delicious. I don’t like Mac and cheese but was willing to go back for another round! Super flavorful and moist. I enjoyed the energy there and people are super friendly. They even had a car show outside the restaurant today! Thank you for an amazing experience! We’ll be back!
Got a chance to meet with the owner and you can tell how passionate he is. I had the special and MAN!! Flavor flavor flavor!! So good. I’m from Fresno but I will make a trip out here just for this BBQ! Worth it!
Really cool place, order your food and eat inside in a train car, eat outside in a really nice patio. excellent excellent barbecue, get the sampler platter. It's enough for 3-4 people for sure.
I came to Salty's while having car work done, and I am glad I did. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is great. Outdoor or indoor seating. Outside the smoker wafts the smell of delicious meat while you jam out to great music like the Beach Boys. The food is amazing. I got the chicken and pulled pork plate with green beans and a roll. The meats were perfectly seasoned and the green beans spicy with garlic. Those were good portions for $13, too! I definitely recommend and will be returning.
Good food, Very quick service at 430 pm.The spicy mac n cheese is not too hot.Nice options for inside or outside seating. Nice radiant heaters for outside seating. Great 70's pop & rock soundtracks.
Not sure why Guy Fieri even visited this place. The pulled pork and ribs were dry. We could tell they had been sitting out for awhile. The potato salad was missing salt and wasn’t even edible and the macaroni and cheese was mushy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be returning.
Third time I've ordered from here. Third time I order extra ranch for a tri-tip salad and have never got extra ranch. I'm done with Saltys BBQ because the lack of service. The tri- tip is good. Ribs usually dry as well as chicken. Had my company do a BBQ with saltys twice which was disappointing at best.
This place is great you pull up and the smokers are right in front of you smells great and tastes great go to them it’s great bbq
