Food never disappoints, tasty tri-tip and the spicy Mac and Cheese best ever.My daughter had the brisket and her BF the pulled pork, they loved it!
Good service and absolutely delicious! With no exaggeration probably some of the best bbq i have ever had. A little pricey but not too bad and the quality definitely makes up for it. Please give this place a try, you wont regret it
Came for a business trip and Salty’s was highly recommended when asked about a great place that is a must try!! I was definitely not disappointed! I had their Brisket and Rib combo. You better come hungry! This well be a frequent place that I visit every time I’m anywhere near Bakersfield!!!
Amazing food! This place had its own charm… only reason I didn’t give 5 star is because I’m very particular with my sauce … and their sauce wasn’t to my liking …. HOWEVER!!! Everything was really good! If you’re around the area; definitely a must try
3.19.22 ordered Salty's special, 1/4 tri tip, 1 beef and 2 pork ribs. Wow.. Salty's special is really good... and the surprise to me is the beef rib. I was expecting dry but rather.. very juicy with jerky flavor. Pork ribs were over done.. too dry.Definitely will come back for more.Thanks, Guy @ Food Channel
The best bbq! Tried the Salty's Special and it was amazing! Spicy mac and cheese was so good and perfectly spicy! Amazing green beans and even the rolls were amazing! They split the rolls and grill them lightly toasted, so good! We will definitely be back to try more!
This place is great you pull up and the smokers are right in front of you smells great and tastes great go to them it’s great bbq
I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 only because a 5 has to be perfection. This deserves a 4.5. While in Bakersfield, I searched for BBQ. I drove by and hesitated but I’m so glad I stopped. There are a lot of options in the immediate vicinity but this place is legit and unique. Then I noticed “Guy ate here.” I ordered Salty's Special Sandwich: very tasty toasted Pyrenees bread, tri-tip, pulled pork and coleslaw and yellow peppers. Yeah, Guy ate this. Green beans as a side, these are not canned, amen. They were out of spicy Mac and cheese so I’m going to assume it’s popular. I ordered a hot link on the side; it’s a hot link; I like hot links so no negative comment. I’m going back as soon as I can.
Picture isn’t that great since I had poured BBQ sauce on it already. Ordered lunch for the team, I had a brisket sandwich with spicy Mac and cheese and a piece of beef rib. Brisket was little dry but had a good smoke taste to it, mac and cheese was good with slight spice kick and rib was moist and tasted good.I think the experience would have been much better if I had eaten at a restaurant instead of having it delivered. I will try it again but this time at a restaurant and update my review accordingly.Overall good food
Excellent service and top notch BBQ...will go again and tell family and friends.
