Original Fish Tacos. Used to eat at Rubio's in San Diego back in late 80s. No one comes close to their fish tacos. There's a lot of imitators, but no one is close. Miles above Baja Fresh. Update: $12 got me a 2-taco plate, beans, chips and a drink (May 2022). Service was excellent. Restaurant is well-managed, clean and service is great.

I like to have lunch from here because they are pretty healthy and have a wide selection. I recommend the cilantro quinoa lime bowl. Also, their salsa is super hot, which is amazing! They never mess up my order.
Great service and tortillas are served warm. Never disappointed ? and I've eaten real baja california fish taco... and really do help with the cravings ?
Just ordered Rubio's for the first time it was about some of the nastiest taste in food I've ever had in my entire life in my personal opinion I think Rubio's needs to go out of businessNasty nasty food very nasty food
Service was good, line moved quickly, food was made in reasonable amount of time. Got a California burrito, and it was real good, would definitely eat here again

Very good burritos and salsas are great. The employees great and helpful. Cleaning after each dine in gives some of us peace of mind
