The staff was super nice, very friendly. It gives off a homey vibe. The atmosphere was quite, even when more people showed up. The booth wasn't very comfortable, but that's due to my belly. The portions were filling, not too much, but not too little. I liked their pasta more than olive garden. My girls were kinda dissatisfied with the temperature of the ravioli but the taste was still good. Some old guy was flirting with one of the younger waitress and that was kinda of cringe. Overall it was a good experience.
Great staff and service. Our meal was very delicious and hearty, I'd recommend it if your looking for a good wholesome meal come here, I promise you won't be disappointed ?
The home-cooked menu and excellent service makes a good experience in large dining area, but very outdated design and decor. Always busy, so that soeaks for fiod and value. Would still return frequently.

To be honest, Italian food is not my favorite. But I ordered mushroom ravioli & asked for garlic on the top. I must say it was very good! Unfortunately, which is pretty typical of most Italian restaurants, the price was high for a rather small portion. All in all though, a very delicious lunch.
Been awhile since we visited the restaurant. Went on a sunday around 6pm. Service was good, food was delicious. They served us bread and butter when we were seated. Bread was fresh and served with real butter. My only hang up and really not a big deal but going to mention it, butter was refrigerated and hard to spead on the bread. So my wife and I sat on the butter to soften it. We both had the Chicken Picata, it was excellent.

Love this place and it's been consistently good for many years. Definitely a staple go to for Italian food in Bakersfield. My only complaint is that it's hard not to fill yourself with the complimentary bread before your main meal. Also the staff is very professional and kind. Last night we got there about a half hour before closing and were the last people to leave, but the staff never complained or rushed us. Sorry for making you stay late, you guys are great!
I love this place I had the clam linguini in garlic butter and it just needed a little salt and parm cheese. I am sure they do it that way because not everyone can have a lot of salt. And some people don't care for Parmigiano cheese
