Delicious authentic Mediterranean/Greek food. Had hummus and lamb with baklava for desert. Amazing 10/10.
My favorite restaurant in town, and after trying a few other Mediterranean places, still the best I've ever had. Lovely, cozy, and locally owned. Great for lunch or dinner. Lunch special pita sandwiches are great, and full dinners are also to die for. Lamb kebab is my go-to dinner, while I'm partial to the chicken shawarma sandwich for lunch. Even though I have my favorites, everything I've ever ordered was phenomenal, even their salad is stellar (yes, I just said that a salad was stellar). Just ate at another Mediterranean spot for lunch today, which made me feel I needed to update my review. I've also tried some Mediterranean restaurants while out of town, and nothing comes close to Pita House. So go give Lisa and Mac a visit, you will not be disappointed.
This place needs an award. The gentleman who prepares the menu items is a truly skilled saint. The falafel is highly unique with a strong cinnamon flavor and the hummus is something extraordinary.

We loved this little place. We were driving back home from a road trip and took a quick pit stop in here. The food was amazing and really affordable too. We ordered beef falafel and beef gyro with sides of hummus. Everything tasted amazing.
Great food! Tasty and very healthy! And a family business! If you prefer local businesses this is the place to go!
STOP HERE AND ENJOY! We were passing by Bakersfield and needed to eat on our way to our destination. This came up on our search. So worth the small detour from the highway to get here

I don't understand why this place isn't jam packed. Food is incredible! Fresh made. Delicious spices. This is authentic. Highly recommend.
