Highly disappointing lunch today at Mossmans Coffee Shop/ catering on F st. I ordered the "Specialty burger" on a house roll. The roll was about 3x3. Very thin patty, lettuce was all yellow. Onion rings thick, not fully cooked however the coating was too brown. Possibly old oil My friend got a Turkey club. 3 thin slices of turkey, yellow lettuce, and dry as heck. So sad. We won't go back.
Absolutely Loved this Place.First time Going.Went in there with my Brothers, Chose the seats away from the Windows, it was nice and Clean.We Sat down and the Waiter came in to greet us Instantly asking if we wanted Drinks. I ordered a Coffee, and my Brothers ordered their own Drinks. Tasted the Coffee without Creamer and Sugar, it was pretty great, I tried it with sugar and Creamer, still Amazing. By the way, Free Refills!!!We ordered our own Burgers, I personally tried the Ortega Burger, and I have to say. Presentation is Amazing, the Meat is actually Savory and Delicious. The Ortega Pepper was Cooked great. Pepperjack Cheese is out of this World, the Veggies were Fresh, and the Sauce was pretty great too.I also used Tapatio on it for that kick, but just informing you they do have Tapatio ❤️Fries were Definitely Amazing, I dipped them in Ranch, and Tapatio Mix, the Ranch itself tasted Great.After Eating, we were told if we'd be wanting Dessert, but sadly we were full and refused, but I'm definitely open to coming back for another Meal and even trying their Desserts, will keep this Updated ?Overall, this is a Perfect place for Family Dinners, Casual Lunches, Dates, or even coming for a Cup of Coffee. Will definitely recommend this place to all my Friends.
This place used to be pretty decent. I hadn't ate here in a while. The quality of the food has really went down hill. Sadly Will not be returning.
Love this place i had the fish and chips my girl had the grilled chicken sandwich and the kids had chicken strips....FIRE!!!! Servers are also very nice...
All the food is great I’ve eaten here for years but now that I don’t live here I always get the fish and chips. Love the coleslaw and if Mossman’s great bread.
This place is horrible when it comes to customer service, especially for a black person. I have been here a few times an everytime I come it’s due to work so I’m on my lunch. I have watched these lady waiters serve their customers an come back no more than 7 to 9min later asking if you ok need anything an all. That has not been the case for my experiences, everytime I order no one comes or nothing I have to get up an ask myself. Will be nice to have a 2nd drink while I eat my food at the time vs offering me a to go cup. Don’t wanna say racist but DEFINITELY get that feeling from this place DONT go if u are expecting good customer service.
Amazing food. Amazing service. It reminds me of an old 50s diner and I love it. The owner is so sweet. The food is fast and excellent. Will return for another yummy lunch
This is our go to place for breakfast and fish n chips. This time we had breakfast. My companion had the all meat omelet that came with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I just had a single biscuit with gravy and a side of bacon. As always the food was fantastic and they give you a lot. The only issue I had was the waitress seemed to be more interested in talking with her regular customers then coming back to see if we didn't more coffee or anything else. We've had her wait on us in the past and it seems to be her routine to focus on the regulars. Food is why we go not the so so customer service. If you want great food definitely come here.
Absolute BEST fish and chips in town. They probably always will be. And if you dare blame them for the bowling alley closing down, just know they had nothing to do with that. Do you think they would have pushed for the alley to close down and lose 95% of their business?! You're out of your mind if you think that. It makes no sense! They do fish and chips the nearly original way which means the fish bits are done in cubes. If you have some odd aversion to cubed fish, you can go learn so history because this is how it's done. Battered flats is a relatively new way of doing it. The fish is done perfectly and the breading is nice and crunchy. The fries are also perfect as well as the tartar sauce. A lot of the complaints on here are nonsensical and you really need to use logic to know the bad reviews are just being karens. The staff is so wonderful and I could have spent half the day just chatting if I didn't have a to go order waiting to take home to my dad. They work hard and they love their patrons. I hadn't been here in over a decade until my dad asked me to pick up an order and I'm glad I did. They're the homey make you feel comfortable type of people and I'm sure we'll be getting many more meals there soon. I've got nothing but praise for them. The cook was outside when I pulled up and I asked if they still had fish and chips on the menu and he have an emphatic "YES!" so, even the guys you don't see make this place go round. This place should get WAY more attention than it does. Definitely a gem.❤
