Highly disappointing lunch today at Mossmans Coffee Shop/ catering on F st. I ordered the "Specialty burger" on a house roll. The roll was about 3x3. Very thin patty, lettuce was all yellow. Onion rings thick, not fully cooked however the coating was too brown. Possibly old oil My friend got a Turkey club. 3 thin slices of turkey, yellow lettuce, and dry as heck. So sad. We won't go back.
We are regulars, sometime dine in, sometime call in and pick up. Waitresses are awesome and attentive.
Almost killed me with a hamburger toothpick hidden in the burger. Broken toothpick looks intentionally. Time 2:56 Friday 5/20/2022.Shut them down now is what I want.
Honestly it's a place for the locals. It's more about the community than the food. The breakfast food is, honestly, just ok.Usually, the staff are really friendly and attentive: one of the only places in Bakersfield that are quick to refill your coffee.You'll feel like you belong to Bakersfield, sitting there, with all the traditional locals. Moss Man's is worth a visit, but don't expect too much.I recommend the Chicken Fried Steak, gravy/biscuits, orange juice, and coffee.Good eats!
Great people, great customer service, good food and prices. Love the family atmosphere, no lazy waitresses here

Mossman’s serves terrific breakfast. It’s always consistently good. Their fish and chips are delicious. Did you know Mossman’s also has another coffee shop downtown just off F street?I ordered the eggs, bacon and 2 pancakes. It’s plenty to eat, tastes great and with coffee only $11 bucks and change.Gayla waited on me and she did awesome job.

I asked if they made breakfast burritos like the other location downtown and the girl said yes.Picked up my order and it was not a burrito when I got home. It was a breakfast plate. I called to you inform them of there mistake and was told that they do not make burritos?¿?I will not go back, too bad this location is right around the corner.
Definitely worth the money, and server was on top of her game. Pancake was really good.
