Disclaimer: this place is in the EXACT SAME location as the former J's Place. They have the best chicken and waffles in Bakersfield, and the catfish is pretty bomb too. We went this evening and the place wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be. That’s a good thing because I don’t like being around a lot of folks.The food excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. If my doctor didn’t instruct me to not eat so much fried food I’d be here three times a week. Then again… who's going to tell him…?
J's place is back with a new updated interior and new name but same delicious chicken and waffles. Love it
