One order of yellow bellies (chicken enchiladas covered with sauces with rice and beans) for my husband and I to split - and there are leftovers! Very very tasty ?

I love this place. Their food is the bomb and is the best fast food Mexican that I have tried. My number 1 place to eat is La Costa but this is great for a quick bite! Thank you La Mesa! ???
The food was great until the diarrhea and stomach cramps hit. All my coworkers said not to go because they all got diarrhea. I should have listened because they were correct.
This is Mexican food on par with Chipotle and just a nudge above Taco Bell. There's a reason they play country music inside instead of mariachi.Cold cube steak burrito? Seriously? Yikes.I mean, look, if you think Chipotle is a "banger" place to eat then you'll probably be fine here. If you're looking for authentic, head to the nearest La Villa. Ask Google, thank me later.
One of the gems in Bakersfield. Puts chipotle to shame. Perfect portions amazing food made exactly how you want it. You have to try their wet burritos they are absolutely one of their best items same goes with the cheese quesadilla. If you haven’t been here yet do yourself a favor and treat yourself!
The first time i had a chicken burrito andbit was great the second time I had a cali burrito but the steak was tough and chewy spit out most of the pieces
I have been SO impressed with Mesa!!! They have done everything humanly possible all through COVID to serve their customers! I have joined several of my friends here for Taco Tuesday every week for the past year and always love the food, the beer, the people, and the owner, Jason. We always feel welcomed, we always leave satisfied! Their rewards program is AWESOME!! I highly recommend stopping by!
The manager is completely unprofessional, and boarder line abusive to the employees. It is sad to witness this behavior because most of the people working there are 18-20 and this is their first job. The manager Jason Burg needs to take management, conflict resolution, and food safety classes. One of their employees were exposed to COVID and he demanded the employee to come in that night. This behavior is disgusting, especially when the manager is a grown adult. I am astonished how this business has not been sued or shut down. For your own safety I recommend avoiding this "restaurant".
