Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. The calamari was so delicious. I had the special, it was Sea bass and that was so delicious as well. One of the best places in Bakersfield hands down
We popped into hear to meet up with freinds and have a bite to eat. We could not fault the service or the food. Everyone's meal came hot and well presented. With definitely use this restaurant again when we visit bakersfield.
We were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to try this place out. They stated that they had outside seating so we requested that in advance. They had a table put in the waiting area in the front... not the best, but I will take it. The service was incredibly slow (it was Friday at 6:30pm), and it took forever to get drink orders. It felt like they were more of a bar than a restaurant. The tapenade appetizer was outstanding! The bruschetta had really delicious toppings but the bread was really soggy. Our entrees were delicious, but kind of pricey. I had the porcini, and my wife had the tomahawk steak. Both delicious, but altogether too expensive for the whole experience.
Atmosphere was very nice, service was excellent, food was good. Only complaint would be that the bread wasn't very good, and cold butter patties are hard to spread on cold bread. Every thing else i ate i enjoyed, the little mozzarella balls, delicious, definitely recommend an order of those. Would definitely gove this place another visit.
The best Italian food I have ever had! We were greeted and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The presentation of the food was just everything. The chianti wine was just divine. I ordered the half and half ravioli since I couldn't decide which one I wanted. It was delicious! My mother ordered the chicken pasta. She loved it! Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back again!!
Made a pit stop at Mamma Mia’s before heading back home. Great atmosphere and delicious food. I had their Halibut special with Isabella’s salad as a side ?. Absolute ?!!! Will definitely stop by again when driving through Bakersfield.!!
Absolutely the best food in Bakersfield California scallops were phenomenal and the short rib raviolis absolutely amazing service fantastic we'll definitely be going again
Wonderful greeting by hostess. Our waiter was very helpful with dinner choices and a lot of fun!Food was spectacular, filet mignon with bolognese pasta to die for. I am from San Francisco bay area and this restaurant is up with the very best!! LOVED IT!!
Mamma Mia Italian restaurant has hit a home run with excellent Italian food.Came in for lunch, party of four, immediately greeted by waitress Tish, she sat us and gave excellent advice on specials and suggested their ravioli’s, two types, short rib ravioli In garlic butter sauce or Osso bucco in homemade marinara sauce. My friend ordered the latter and raved how good they were. I had the short rib ravioli, wow, they melted in your mouth, excellent.Service was outstanding, fast and a pleasure with Tish.We will definitely be back very soon.
Love this place!! Food is AMAZING and service is top notch! Will never be disappointed coming here! The atmosphere is lively whether you're sitting at the bar for drinks or at a table, it's very enjoyable. I see families celebrating birthdays to couples enjoying a date, and friends having good laughs! I've done dinner dates with my husband had hung out with friends and I enjoyed it just the same! They really go out of their way to make your visit a really good one! Highly recommend them!!
