Such poor service. Sat and waited almost 10 minutes before we even got our drinks. A couple came in after and got their drinks and bread and we were still waiting. No one ever checked in on us to ask if everything was okay or if we needed a refill I had to flag someone down. I don't know if she was the owner she was dressed in regular clothes. Never had been there before we went on our for dinner and didn't quite understand the menu or how it worked and she talked to us like we were stupid. Then she told me my dish would have 10 shrimp in it and chicken it was a pasta dish. The whole dish was 90% pasta three pieces of shrimp and maybe four pieces of chicken. But the service is what was the worst I will never go back. I work in customer service that is not how treat you treat people who you want to return for business.

Located in the heart of downtown, this little gem had made a name for itself! Guy Fieri was right to come here and put it on traveler's radar.Location: The vibe is what I would expect from a chic Bakersfield eatery to be. It's clean, bright, relaxed, and full of color.Service: Full 5 star for the only waitress in the entire facility! She was very attentive to everyone's needs right from entering the building. She brought a high chair immediately and the open seating helped us feel at home. Kind, positive, quick, and not overly chatty.Food: we had multiple people in our group so that we got to try a carries of dishes. If you are looking for your run of the meal good then you'll want to go somewhere else. They did a fantastic job incorporating culture and flavor into every bite. The fried chicken is real fried chicken and the sauce sends it into space with flavor. For my weak tounge, everything was on the edge of too much spice. Sweet potatoes fries were crispy and sent my taste buds on a wild ride that smoked with the habanero ketchup sauce. The pasta just wasn't hitting the spot with our party. Grilled chicken pesto on the other hand was filling and delightful! Will go again. Great place to bring out of towners due to it's claim to Fame and it will not disappoint!

Food was fabulous, and service was great. I highly recommend trying! Lunch menu is different than dinner. Lunch menu posted.

I came in on New Years Eve for some lunch and it was a good experience for the most part. Just wish the waitress wouldve slowed down a bit she seemed rushed. It wasnt busy at all and almosf felt like she wanted me to hurry and get out. Aside from that the food was delicious. I ordered the empanadas chilean style , frijoles negros con platano. Very delicious and the restaurant had a nice vibrant calm setting. Will return for more food lol

The tapas are incredible! The sauce for the shrimp dish is super tasty. We got the classic black beans and rice to go with the tapas and the dumplings. The dumplings we ordered have a great meat filling with a dipping sauce that goes well with it.

One of my favorites! Mediterranean inspired food. Try the chicken paillard, with rice, empenadas, jerk chicken, or tortilla soup. Homemade bread. Good beer and wine selection. Place is often packed but the service is top notch.

Took my mother in law for the first time she loved it. Food was fantastic as always.

The food, and service were amazing. Best shrimps I've ever had. I definitely recommend the sweet potato fries, shrimps, ropa vieja, and the fried chicken.

Delicious food. Everything I have tried tastes great, but the black beans and plantains and the Latin Fried Chicken are outstanding.

Great food, try the tri tip made by the owner. It's delicious
