Great food and phenomenal service. We've been to many sushi places and even their other location multiple times and we loveeeeed coming here today. The little gal with purple hair was our server and she was so helpful and did such a great job. Also not sure his position. Maybe another server? Taller Asian guy. Also super nice and helped us out to. The white cook they had today. Great rolls. Great presentation. We will definitely be making this our new sushi joint. We had to tip them all individually because of how well they all did.
Our favorite find in Bakersfield. It was a bit of a wait for our food but it was delicious. My daughter had the baked salmon roll with no spicy sauce, I had the Ichi roll with real crab and steamed shrimp. We shared a plate of fried rice. The best Japanese restaurant taste wise to date The staff was friendly and priced reasonably at just under $16.00 per sushi roll with fresh ingredients. We are definitely going back.
My favorite sushi place. I will say that I had bad experience with take out before. However, every time we dine in everything is perfect. I believe the female owner was in on one occasion and was very friendly to my kids. Even gave them training chop sticks.
The monkey brain is so delicious! I only like sushi from one other place and I would never buy sushi anywhere else but once I found this place it’s my new go-to. Also their waitresses are always so nice!
I have tried love sushi once before and was disappointed. I believe everyone deserves a second chance so I tried them again today.The sushi Chef or as he’s called in Japan the “Sushishokunin” should be embarrassed and ashamed of what he presented as sushi rolls. They were soggy, falling apart and did not taste good. The softshell crab rolls were over stuffed with imitation crab. I only found small bits and pieces of softshell crab. They were not very busy, and yet the service was extremely slow. The one star I am giving them is for the lovely fragrant tea I had.
If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would. Both female waiters were extremely rude and dismissive. We weren’t served everything we ordered and then when we realized it at the end of our meal and let them know the waiter was also extremely rude. Food was not good either. We saw waiter drop edamame on a counter and pick it up with bare hands then serve it to another customer. Twice plates were placed on our table that weren’t ours and for surrounding tables so it was also very obvious they were not paying attention either.

Whether getting doordash or take out I have never had a problem with this place. The interior is very well decorated and nicely lit, the staff is extremely nice and talented at what they do. The food is delicious especially the Philadelphia roll which is a reasonable price and this fried rice is also very good.
It's scorched and bitter. I need a new one. But the boss was very strange. He said: the new one is also paste. This is the first time I've heard that baking paste is normal. The boss gave me a refund, but he and the waiter were very unfriendly to me. Didn't realize his mistake. I went to the Korean restaurant nearby and bought a barbecue.
My go to place for the area. Excellent, quality rolls by chefs, Jacob and Jason. ? love the quiet, cozy small dining area and friendly wait staff. A+
