Today's after school snack was a poor choice on my part. It's been a while since I've been at Love Sushi, boy, things have changed. I was greeted. Happy vibe for sure. But the lack of attention and value for what I was given it was disappointing. My sushi was so transparent thin I didn't know what I was eating, even for my simple order. No ginger no wasabi. No real value for the price. I have been in places where the fish is abundant, not here. It was lonely. And over priced. Nothing is a deal. Even to share and enjoy which is the Japanese sushi experience.
Great food, my two friends and I had a wonderful lunch and tried a little of all sorts of rolls and lunch and loved the freshness and the flavors. The service was wonderful and the servers so sweet. I recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and great service. Cheryl, Sue and Shelley
The ILove Sushi on Coffee Rd is better and worth the drive.This place tried to serve us a burnt Sushi Pizza. Then seemed irritated because we sent it back.
Worst service ever waitresses did not know what they were doing never once did they come and see if I needed anything just bad service overall
Been here 5x and not once disappointed me on any of my selections...Especially with the baked mussels they don't disappoint you!I go here when it's closer to where I'm shopping definitely a repeat customer here thanks team Suhsi n staff.
I think it’s clear that the reviews have somewhat of a split opinion on this place. We all experienced completely different service. Mine was a waste of time and inconsiderate at the very least. We waited about 1 hour for the 4 rolls of sushi, customers after us had came and gone, and we were even short 1 sushi roll but I didn’t want to wait another 30 min for a California roll. My cousins and I aren’t the type of make a scene so we kept patient. What was sad about finally receiving our rolls was that they were poorly made and falling apart by the time the lady placed them on the table. She even remarked “wake up time” as she placed the food on the table, so she knew just how long we had been waiting. No explanation or apology. We finished within 5 min of receiving our food. We wasted our time and money here. It’s pricier now and service is poor. I had to get up and ask for out receipts and push ourselves out the restaurant. Even as we left the workers said goodbye/thank you to all other customers but us. What did we ever do?? Highly recommend you go to any other sushi spot here in Bakersfield.

Not like the other Love Sushi restaurants. this places rolls taste fake. Worst than the store bought sushi rolls from the grocery stores.
The food was the worst. I don’t leave reviews but I too. Me and my friend want to throw up. The fish didn’t taste correct. I don’t recommend.
