Its a place we go often. Service and food always good. Their salsa is so good, homemade, not store bought in a jar?its a nice place, friendly
Nice and quiet little place in the middle of downtown. Good food, good portion size, good service. Cost too much but, that's Joe's fault. Was our first visit but I'm sure we'll find our way back again.
Loved the chorizo skillet. My son requested hot milk for his cocoa and it was absolutely delicious, that has 1 free refill and he was happy to use it. My husband isn't big on skillets but he ordered his and was able to have pancakes as an side, totally sweet. I'll be coming back.
The service was pleasant, unfortunately the food itself was not what I was hoping for.Paid $20 just to eat the potatoes.My chicken Fried Steak was very chewy and the meat had a weird taste to it. The only thing I was able to taste in the gravy, was the flour.I had a bite of the biscuits and gravy, and that was a total fail as well.I gave this place a shot, despite the homeless lady that was begging for food inside the restaurant.
Had their Chile Verde skillet. It's actually pretty good. Nice service, very attentive, only bad thing is the area. A lot of homeless people. The day I went there was actual human feces near the front door..
Went 12/26. Breakfast cold eggs, hash browns, and French toast. For price and not being busy this should not happen. Not sure going backServes lots of food. Had "country breakfast." Hash browns mushy. Gravy good but biscuits had no flavor. Sausage over cooked. Will go back.
If I could give them a negative zero I would. I will NEVER eat there again. Food was OVERPRICED & gross. My skillet was cold my biscuits and gravy cold. I honestly don't understand how they are even open. Save yourself your time and your money!!! Food all COLD!
Been here a couple times , the food is always good and made to your liking and the staff are great very attentive and sweet. It does get a bit busy sometimes but good still comes out quickly and the prices are really good.
I pass by Lorene's cafe innumerable amount of times at day, and I always wonder what kind of experience would be to eat there. Well..today I went, and asked for steak and eggs, medium the steak, over easy the eggs.Coffee to start off, was watered down, it tasted like...nothing. Steak was cooked well done, and the eggs were already pouched and broken by the time the plate was served...I ate them, however i couldnt finish the steak. I addressed the inconvenience to the server and she said: "sorry the cook was bussy"Young lady, it takes less time to cook a medium steak than a well done. Bill was paid in full, money wasnt the inconvenience, but the food, and the answer from the server...I understand nowadays restaurants are short staffed, but in the other hand, I am the one with the money, and I wanted steak and eggs cooked the right way, not however the cook wanted because he was busy.There is never a second chance for a first impression.Sorry, only one star, well deserved!
I have never had a bad meal or a bad waitress. Everybody is attentive and polite and I ? the food!
