Food has always been good, items on the menu are not that unique or special Plus for the price that's why the minus one star. I don't mind cost if everything on the menu was organic. I don't understand the high cost for basic stuff maybe if they stuck to common theme but from my understanding some items are organic and they try obtain food from local vendors. I've been in food industry 25 years and most restaurants try to get their food from local vendors. So basically if I were out with friends and someone were to suggest this restaurant i wouldn't say no but at the same time I wouldn't be saying let's go here as first option.
All dishes were delicious. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was lovely.
Expired root beer, it definitely tasted off from the start. Service was slow and low energy,Came for the burger said the wait would be extra long so I choose the melt, half the sandwich didn’t have the same toppings as the other half.
Perfect spot for a delicious salad and a refreshing agua fresca the art work is such a bright spot in the neighborhood. I sincerely appreciated the experience.I ordered half a stone fruit salad and an agua fresca
Delicious and unique food. Could use some more servers. The sweet potato and Brussel sprout bowl was fantastic!We were never checked on and had to summon for a waitress on several occasions.
It took over an hour to get our food. Over 20 min just to clean the table before we sat down.2 groups of people came .. waited and leftMy Melt sandwich came cold.The Italian soda is really good.They ended up giving us a discount cause it was so bad. So that was nice.
This was my first time eating here.I've heard great things and had to try it for myself.The food was AMAZING!My family really enjoyed eating outside.The drinks were on another level.This is a Bakersfield must!
This is a great stop for a healthy selection of food with very good service and comfortable patio seating. A musician was playing during our lunch which made it even more enjoyable. We hope to visit again for our next stay in Bakersfield.
This is not a normal restaurant. Nothing comes from boxes or cans. The flavor is so fresh and wonderfully surprising. The onion rings, the Brussel Sprouts Bowl, The Blu Salad with Chicken and the Hamburger were absolutely perfect and delicious. If you haven't been there you are missing out on real food and a great staff. This will be our go too forever.
Nice find in Bakersfield. The food is American food but not greasy spoon or dinner. It's more country kitchen and that goes with the local farm-to-table concept they run. It is fairly busy so if you are in a rush order ahead. But do order you won't be disappointed.
