Manager was told locking front door during business hours was illegal. His response was he knew, but did want to have to watch the door for homeless. He did not care he was putting people's lives at risk since the kitchen (where fires and explosions occur) is by the only unlocked door. Good luck getting out.Been there twice and they have been out of chicken. Once no dark meat at all. The other, no tenders or filets for sandwiches. So very limited menu because manager can't see to figure out to start cooking chicken BEFORE you run out, so people don't have to wait 20 minutes for chicken.
Oh my gosh the KFC on the East side town is ALWAYS SO CLEAN AND EVERYONE OF THERE STAFF ARE SO NICE I WAS SO HAPPY!
I made a mobile order of a 2 breasts and wing meal. Before leaving the drive up window I checked the order and it was incorrect. One thigh and a wing. They quickly got a correct order together. I recommend always checking your order accuracy before leaving the store.
Awful food that never should have left the window. Corn was dry as a bone and burnt, chicken was 60% grease soaked breading cooked in dirty old oil, and the biscuits were dry and hard as hockey pucks!! It was around 7:30pm so by no means should the food have been this bad!! The worst part is I paid over 30 dollars for complete trash!! Never again!!
That was not cool. After a five hour drive we were hungry. We were the forth vehicle in line at the drive thru. Each vehicle took an exaggerated long time to place their order. We wanted to leave and find some other place else to buy dinner but we were blocked. When it was finally our turn to order. We heard the usual greeting but after that nothingMy daughter said DAD I THINK THEY ARE CLOSED SINCE IT'S A HOLIDAYI drove up to the pickup window and there was nobodyWe wasted almost an hour in line for nothingThanks a lot for nothingIf you must close for whatever reason put up some cones but don't do this to the customersI really expect more from KFC
My family has always used the KFC store @ 2674 Mt. Vernon Ave. Bakersfield CA. On jan.01 2022 at about 3:20 p.m. They we're not busy when I got there. And they were just getting it boxed up. We ordered on line . The order was a 12 piece meal with Cole slaw ,Mac& cheese and potatoes and gravy. And a 8 piece chicken. Got home and Mac & cheese was burnt and chicken was salty, biscuitswere hard.I was really disappointed.
They don't sell combos with mashed potatoes and slaw. You want 2 sides you gotta pay for the second one. Every other state they sell big boxes with 2 sides. They replaced the slaw with a lame cookie. Even worst they are charging $3.25 for a sorry side. $10.89 for a combo, add the side....$15.13 for a combo at KFC. Ridiculous. Never eating KFC again in California. Bunch of money hungry thieves. I hope Chik fil a puts you guys out of business and out of your misery. It's Chicken!!! Not a world class steak or seafood. It's cheap chicken!!!!!
This is the worse KFC in Bakersfield. It's worth traveling a few extra miles just to not have to go to this one. I have to pick up different meals a few times a week and last week, 4 out of 6 were bad experiences. They are always out of something. Always! And horribly rude on top of that! At night their menu is blacked out and drive through is no shorter than 20 to 25 minutes. I promise you this specific store needs an overhaul desperately. I guess they've just become comfortable with being bad. Sad...
THE MOST NICEST, RESPECTFUL, AND JUST OVERALL GREAT SERVICE. I was missing some items, and when they attended me was quick fast and so courteous. Will come back.
