Honestly, I wish I had taken a better photo but the food was too good I ate it all before I had the chance! You just can’t get steak like this in the U.K. I love the fact you feel like you’re stepping back in the time when you go through the door. Very attentive staff, special thanks to Megan behind the bar for looking after our group and our multiple seating changes (we originally only came in for drinks and decided to eat after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen!). I’ll be back!
I was there on Valentines the food was good we were in an add on of the restaurant in another room and my goodness... they had an acoustic singer who couldn't sing it was a nightmare I wanted to tell the man to shut up! His voice was annoying couldn't enjoy my meal in peace the people in the main part of the restaurant were enjoying themselves better. The service was awful had to ask for things more than five times had different waitresses the only good thing was the food! Do not plan to return ever again!
So we haven't been here in years for dinner and decided to treat my father, who just turned 80 to a fun night out in Bakersfield(he lives out of town)My father ordered the porkchop the size of Texas cooked to his liking.he loved his meal . I had a filet med rare with a loaded potato just sounded so good, and It didn't disappoint. Others at the table ordered lobster; it was on the small side but tasty. Someone ordered the Mac N Cheese; they said it was also good; it looked yummy. Our table of over 10 guests all enjoyed our meal; the service was okay; if you're a regular, they stay close and bring drinks often we noticed.it was a week night so not to crazy busy . But, we solved our situation by ordering a couple of bottles of wine and a pitcher of water half our table didn't drink alcohol but were problem solvers. Yes, we are. lol They had so many stuffed animals and Valentine's Day decorations up ready for the big V day; it was festive .As for the cost of our meal, I'd say with all that's going on prices, we're good, and portions are not lacking. We had a great time catching up with family and friends we haven't seen in months and years, my evening was awesome although I did hear the bar tender say she was "over us " I just acted Def didn't say anything to our table and enjoyed my special time with my father, family and friends. We will go back, I'm sure. Just not real soon, lol.
What amazing food and service!I wish I had a picture of the lobster macaroni, but we ate it too fast!The portions are huge and so delicious. The drinks are cold and exactly what you need with a great steak or pork chop.The staff is very attentive and helpful.No complaints! Only a very happy stomach ?
Food was excellent, service was excellent. My wife & I celebrated our wedding anniversary there.The music wasn't real loud, so my wife & I we're able to talk.We will definitely be back .Their home made bread was great,salsa & beans.I had the chicken fried steak & my wife had the salmon.We really enjoyed our food.Hope you all will give KC Steakhouse a try !
