Was slightly over rated, food was good and fresh, just not blown away. Teppenyaki tasted good but not much of a show came with it. I will go back to try other things though.
Absolutely perfect from the food to the service! Highly recommend. The staff is so friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious every time!
Excellent, as always. Pricey for bakersfield but, makes for a good night out for occasions. Lucky was my last chef, he was fun, funny, skilled and kept everyone entertained while engaging thr whole table.
Came to have dinner with a few girlfriends and the atmosphere was great, very busy for a Monday night so we sat at the bar while we waited foe our table, we got a cosmo and the drink was fantastic. We had the gyoza for appetizer and it is the best I’ve had thus far. For dinner we had the chicken teriyaki with tempura shrimp and veggies, the chicken was cooked just right and the teriyaki sauce was tasty. The tempura veggies and shrimp were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. My friends said their sushi was fantastic. The waitress was so mindful and checked on us several times despite being extremely busy. I’ll be back again!
It's has a pretty good atmosphere but it is exceedingly difficult to get a spot where they actually cook in front of you. Be sure to make a reservation way ahead of time.
Excellent Sushi! Tonight they had a big crowd and we felt a little rushed by the wait staff even with our reservation. Nothing awful, just hurried along...
Delish! Tony & I absolutely enjoy having dinner here. Blake is an amazing Bartender and makes yummy Cadillac Maggie's!!!
High quality food and presentation; we chose the teppan grill with food cooked right in front of you. Chef was experienced, skillful and entertaining. It was a special occasion so we were willing to spend a bit more money for the experience. Recommended. We have been there a couple of years ago and will certainly return again.
I told the hostess I had never been here before. I came by because I just dropped my bike off at Action Sports and was looking for some good Asian food. I had to ask if I could sit down. There was no friendliness. She ushered me to a table and walked away. The food was delivered much the same way. They said the name of food and walked away. I don't see any friendly service here at all. This is the rudest service I've had in a long while. Food is mediocre. I asked for steamed rice and they brought me fried rice. I won't be back.
Delicious food and excellent service. The lady at the front desk always seems a little frustrated or annoyed, but all the other staff have been amazing.
