So disappointed in John's this morning got burned toast burned sausages had eggs and sausage with biscuits and gravy the eggs had 4 small pieces of egg and burned sausage didn't take picture of sausage. For the price of everything the employees should be thankful they have customers that will spend the money to eat there. 2nd time this happened. Very disappointed.

Have always loved this location! Best service ever! Miss the old guy and the crew from 10+ years ago lol.
Been eating here since I was a child. Used to love coming here but the past couple times, I have been disappointed. Ordered a tuna melt and was charged for a tuna melt, but was given a thin grilled cheese. The previous time, I ordered a Denver omelet and was given a ham and egg omelet and no toast. Sad. No longer the same.
Biscuits and gravy are definitely worth trying... Good food, good service at a very reasonable price... I will definitely be back whenever I am on the east side of town...
Food is delicious but they are just plain slow with the service, I feel like I'm at the dmv, great food but come on people you guys have been doing this long enough hire some more people or at least during the busy hours,
The food at John’s Burger‘s is always delicious. Hot and fresh off the grill. Service is fast and friendly. Store is always clean. Drive-through is super convenient. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
I love this local joint. They're always kind and curtious, I've never gotten attitude from any of them. The food is fresh and delicious and its literally the cheapest place to eat out in town and you get a bunch as well. I highly recommend here

John's Burgers is a northeast Bakersfield institution. It has received the "Best Burger" award several times, and lives up to the hype. I'm a basic burger & fries (which is perfect here!) kind of woman but my son has tried every burger on their menu (no lie!) and likes every one but particularly the California Burger. Also a fave of his is their Breakfast Burritos. The onion rings are a yummy treat all by themselves. Definitely worth a visit.
