The first lady that greets you has a horrible attitude making me read the menu a coupleOf time refusing to tell us what she had in the menu, the rest of the staff was great and food is awesome it just that one bad apple the kills the experience in this nice establishment

if you haven't tried it must amazing it's delicious highly recommend. first time I love it

Husband placed a phone order from Jake’s and I arrived a little while later and asked about the order and had a seat while waiting. I decided to check in again about 10 minutes later and the female who was at the counter started getting rude because I asked and stated it’s going to be 20 minutes and was extremely rude. Will not go back. Poor customer service.

One of the servers was not in a good mood but the food didn't disappoint, just a little pricey.

A locally loved restaurant, with much good reason. Parking could be better, but you can only do so much. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bakersfield. EAT HERE IT'S ONE OF THE GREATEST!

Food is always delicious! Even if the line is long, the staff works efficiently to where there isn't a long wait. There was one employee in particular (wish I would have gotten his name! He was blonde & wore glasses) who went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food, unlocked the back door for us to get out easier, then went back and got us a bag for our leftovers. We'll be back when in town ?

First time going here and staff was not friendly or welcoming . The girls who were serving did not help at all I had no idea if my sandwich came with a side. When I ordered the tri tip sandwich they seemed to get upset because they had to pull everything out for it. Usually you get a thank you for coming but nothing . Good customer service goes a long way.

One star for none of the staff wearing their masks correctly or at all.One star for the food poisoning I got from here causing me to throw up all night long. And one star for the store bought flavor of the nachos, that I could've created for cheaper at home.

Beyond yum! It's always hard for me to choose between the tritip sandwich or the taco salad. Then try to save room for dessert? Never happens for me but I take it home for later

Best Nachos in town and the chocolate cake is to die for. Staff was friendly. Parking is a bit complicated. Overall great food!
