First off, the vibe alone.... IMMACULATE. This is the kind of place you want to take a girl out to on a nice date. The cocktails are insane, with the creative ways they experiment with alcohol. Prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for and there is no such thing as halfa** when it come to the Foxtail!
Foxtail lounge is a touch of class to Bakersfield nightlife! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Cocktails are priced reasonably and tasteful. We enjoyed chatting it up with Lily, who let us invent a drink for the night, You Wanna Berry Martini. Her recipe and it was delicious! We also enjoyed an Espresso Martini. Dress to impress! The Foxtail lounge is a welcome addition to Bakersfield. While small, the space lends itself to special occasions and intimate moments. You'll find that the lounge requires reservations on Friday and Saturday however, this only serves to maintain an environment that perfectly captures the essence of "hushed excitement".While the menu is priced well, the drinks are an excellent entry into mixology. Unfortunately, nothing is envelope pushing when compared to LA's offerings, but when compared to anything in Bakersfield it's certainly twice as delicious.I made my reservation over the phone, and was able to get in pretty easily, however i'm hopeful i'll be able to reserve online at some point. Lovely experience
Chill vibe, accomplishes the feeling like you've stepped out of Bako into a very classy, modern tropical themed, velvet-couched lounge. Cool dude wiping down tables and chatting with customers, we ended up finding out, was the Owner! Now that's legit when you're working with your team. What a cool example of a Boss. Both he and Kristoff (reservation manager) were very kind, personable and welcoming. Would go there again for sure!
Great upscale bar with a cozy atmosphere. Try to get there earlier to make sure you get a seat. Also try the drink with muddled onions, very tasty.
It was a neat place. Small but nice ambiance. Way too cold to hang around long but definitely some cool looking drinks. Reservations recommended by calling.
I’ve been here twice now , Super cute ambience , and yes they asked for reservation on the weekends Bakersfield needs to get used to that. The drinks are tasty any flavor profiles, but for the price they should kick them up a notch, a little more bang for your buck. It’s hard to spend $40 on two drinks and not feel a slight happy buzz..
This is a perfect place to have an intimate date night. Dim lights and velvet couches set the mood for a relaxed evening with a couple of friends or a date/SO. Black-owned and black artistry ❤️ much needed in our community. The music is perfect for conversation, and loud enough to keep it private. Ask the mixologists for recommendations based on your preference before ordering. My first cocktail was too sweet, but after sharing my preferences, I got a good recommetand was satisfied (Bubble De Rosa). Prices are as expected with drinks averaging around $17. You're paying for the ambiance and service, and supporting a local business, so I think they are reasonable prices. I plan to go again!
