This was our second time coming and sadly it will be our last I think. We were seated in the back corner of the second room and were over looked by many of the meat servers. Our regular server was great, although she had 3 large tables to manage. The value was just not there and we waited 15-20 minutes in between the meat service. Just left feeling not as satisfied especially for an over $700 tab. I know employees are hard to come by these days, but we were just disappointed with the service this trip.
I asked for a bottle of wine to be placed on the table in my reservation, which I booked as an anniversary. They placed the bottle, a single elegant rose, and a very thoughtful congratulations card/note. Very tasteful. The food was amazing and the service was incredibly friendly.
I was appalled at how much some of the guys were dripping sweat while bring around the meat. I have been here before and everything was excellent, this time not so much. The meat all tasted very very salty. I had to keep asking for items. Maybe it was just a bad night.
Second time weâve been; this time was definitely not as good. Several meats were over cooked, the pineapple was terrible this time (normally a delight). Our waitress was absent for drink orders (we probably order 12 more drinks amongst us if sheâs around more). One of the guys serving meats was sweating all over his food with no hat. Very disappointing was I loved it the first time and we took new friends who likely wonât be back.
Best part - service. Friendly, caring, professional stuff!
The food was wonderful and the service was great! Will be planning to have a birthday dinner there :)
Salad/cold meats bar available which is nice, only problem is that people don't always use tongs! I pulled my server aside, very discretely and mentioned a person had grabbed some pieces of meat from the plate and had put it back with her hands and she said "really? That's definitely not sanitary" and proceeded to walk away. That plate was never traded out or at least taken to the back and brought right back for the illusion of an action to have taken. Definitely not coming back.
We spent our anniversary here and it was a great experience. Everything was great, they even gave us a handwritten note and a rose at our table! Definitely recommend Flame & Fire for a special occasion.
