I’ve been eating here since I was in the womb, literally. This place never gets old or disappoints. Salsa is one of a kind compared to any other restaurant. Service is always exceptional and family oriented, I moved out of state, however every time I come back, someone always recognizes me. Overall my first place I choose to eat when I come home.

So me and my girlfriend went there yesterday and they were really weird she ordered a magarita and I ordered fried ice cream she looks young but has some Grey hair they have girls her size working there that are her size and appear younger serving alcohol but they acted like it was a fake ID because the obsese waitress came back and said my boss said to ask you what year you were born then all the workers kept staring at us all of them then the owner or whoever she was an older lady asked us why that's all we ordered then as we left literally 5 employees surrounded us and stared as we payed then they also added 1.30 to our bill for a tip for some of the worst service ever also a while back I went there ordered food and a midori sour to go they didn't even card me and gave me the drink to go with a smile on there face I saw the same employees in there this time

Love to go eat there they have the best chorizo nachos and great service from the staff that are working.

Their ground beef is seasoned just right and is not greasy. It is tasty on top of nachos, in tacos, or in enchiladas. Rice is fluffy and tasted fresh. The feel of this place is that it is family owned with an old hacienda decor inside. The waitress was very attentive and there was a constant flow of customers coming and going. Great food, great atmosphere, great wait staff, makes for a great experience. Definitely will be returning.

I hate to be harsh on this little place, but I've had better food from an Old El Paso TV dinner. My recommendation is that they revise the menu and boost up the standards of what they serve. I won't be going back.

El Sombrero is and always will be - no joke - my favorite restaurant in the whole dang world. I have literally been eating here for over 34 years, since I was an infant. Hands down the most efficient, consistent, and consistently great Mexican food I have ever had the privilege of putting in my mouth. If I had constant access to their salsa, I would be addicted - a straight up salsa junkie. My only complaint is that they aren't open on Sunday!

Favorite Mexican food every...I've been eating here for 40 years

Good food very fresh. Food was very hot which keep the taste amazing. Service was above and beyond, never had such an attentive waitress she was always ahead of the game. Keep the drinks flowing and the chips and salsa endless.

Dinner was so good but I need a milder Salsa & Guacamole, my stomach just can't handle the really hot stuff anymore but it was good

A clean restaurant with a familia atmosphere. It seemed like the owner knew many of the costumers. The food was good, their chicken in particular was fantastic. It did feel a bit more expensive than other Mexican restaurants of the same tier that I have tried.
