I highly recommend this location....The service is Great. The food is Great!!
The food quality is really amazing and the staff here makes me feel very welcomed! The servers Liz and Juua were the best and always checked up on us.
The Denny’s on 7th Standard in Bakersfield, CA had very quick, kind & professional service with delicious food. Our server, Martin, was such a patient, kind, considerate, professional server. The restaurant was clean & comfortable. The parking was readily available. THANK YOU‼️
The Denny's on Merle Haggard in Bakersfield is our go to Dennys. Food is always good and so is the service. Our waitress Sonya is awesome.
Great place to eat, friendly customer service
If I could give this place 10 stars I would the staff that work here are amazing me and my buddies always co.ing here late at night for that big booth. We are always greeter right away and treated like regulars because we are. Best place for late night hanging out
Service was great! Thank you, Martin! You did and amazing job! We are a family of 8 and we ran you like crazy but you did it very well. The food for the most part was very good...just toast was a lil burnt. Also, my son-in-law's steak was over cooked and biscuits to biscuits and gravy was very hard. My daughter's chicken in skillet was excellent...grandkids got shakes and my granddaughter said it e as they best chocolate/ banana shake she has ever had..no lumps...lol All- in-all pretty nice!✨?✨
Good, great server, good food, my only real complaint is they have gone to paper straws. Paper straws ruin the flavor of your drink.
Customer service was ok until the server took a customers plate put it in the trash and then came over picked up my silverware and moved it off of my menu and took the menu so what I mean is she touch somebody's dirty plates and came and touched my silverware and didn't wash your hands after she dumped the dirty plates. There was also a girl in the back where they prepare food with her hair flopping around everywhere looks like she just crawled out of bed. Also when I first walked in I noticed this Denny's is completely filthy the one on Spectrum Parkway the windows were filthy the doors there was ants in the window where I was eating right next to me on the ledge the window was filthy the blinds had food on it from kids touching it. This is the dirtiest Denny's I've ever been to
On the day of my most recent visit to Denny’s, Kern County reported 1890 new covid infections and 14 deaths. Despite the “masks are required” signs on the doors, customers and employees were entering without masks, and only two employees were consistently wearing a mask over both nose and mouth. It’s this kind of bad behavior that is killing people! I wouldn’t be in a restaurant if not for family business that required travel, and I was in this one only to pick up a to-go order, but I am rethinking the wisdom of my choice. I had to wait 27 minutes for my meals. When my server, who was friendly and masked, brought my food, I asked if eating utensils were included, and she said they were in the bag. When I got to my hotel room, I discovered that utensils were not included, so I returned to Denny’s and asked for utensils. Nearby seated guests noted the irony because they had just been served and also did not have utensils. I commented that someone must be having an off night, in an effort to acknowledge the challenges. One of the servers, who was wearing her mask below her chin, said, “I'm not. I am always on,” although she was the one who had just served food to the people who needed utensils. This kind of service is unacceptable, even if my food had been good, but the salmon and the squash were overcooked. The only good thing about this visit was the chicken fried steak, which was tasty – not enough of a positive to overcome the bad attitudes and bad service.
