Denny's, one of those places that connot be taken seriously as a great dining experience and thats just the way it has always been. Most of my own experiences have been just 3 stars because they just never seem to change that menu for the better. They have cooks that dont have what it takes to offer credible eats. The restaurants are never clean, the carpeting is always stained and windows full of Flys.But this meal of Pot Roast, veggies and Mashed potatoes and gravy was good to my surprise and right now im thinking of going back for another order as it was that good. The beef was very tender as was the veggies, the mashed potatoes are of course made from dry potato flakes and the gravy is canned. But.....it was good. Try the meal and hopefully you will get what i got...
Sabrina at the front is one of THE best hostesses I have ever experienced. She juggled three or four customers at a time and was killing it! She had the BEST attitude too, even though she had servers, the manager and customers coming at her in all directions. I was so impressed.Our server, Sarah M was also amazing. Kept the coffee coming, the food was hot when it got to our table and she anticipated our needs as a small family of three.I was so impressed with our experience. The energy, food and service was perfect.Also, everything was so clean! Even when I was coming out of the restroom, someone was going in there doing a quick spot clean.Keep it up Dennys off of Rosedale. Don’t really want to go to another one again! ?
We were able to be seated right away, the food was good, but we had a hard time getting our water refilled due to our waiter scrolling through the internet on the computer that was in clear view of our table. We finally had to get the hostess to fill our water glasses.
The food was excellent we previously had eaten at cracker barrel and the meal there was disappointing so we went to Denny's and the meal could not have been any better... The breakfast food was excellent !!
This is the 2nd time ive came here and the bar is closed for 1 reason or another. I come to this Danny's because the one by my house dont have a bar and i like to have a beer while im waiting for my order. They dont even have an option to sit at a table and have one. I guess its ti.e to go elsewhere.
We come down from Vancouver Canada 3 times a year and I, specifically go to this Bakersfield Denny's as the Bartendef is incredible and makes the best Long Islands.Is this a good reason to go Denny's? That depends. But this one does have an entirely seperate lounge and if you want to go to Denny's in Bakersfield, this is the one.
Ordered a vodka soda with lime in a pint glass, definitely didn't deliver but at least it took 20 minutes. The server was nice but the place was way too understaffed.
Was great We went on Christmas day. The staff was excellent. God bless them all abundantly for serving us on this Holy Day. ? food was delicious
Very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL right from the bat!! Even the manager was VERY RUDE! They discriminate act like there better than everyone else..NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO TO THIS DENNYS!! ID RATHER STARVE THAN EAT THERE!! REAL TALK!!??! SMH!!
The service at this location has generally been good, though some staff are curt at times. But the last visit I did on 12/14/2021 landed me with a great server named, "Kasey." She was extremely friendly and accommodating to my wife and I and checked on us regularly. It was not a very busy day since it was raining off and on, but still, this server was stellar. I hope that the rest of the crew looks to her for how to interact with customers in the future. She is the model server to be pattered after.
