I would give this place 5 stars but I just can’t for the one thing it lacks, cleanliness. They need to hire a deep cleaning company to come through and clean everything. It’s like the restaurant has only been wiped down for the last 40 years and never had the nooks and cranny’s cleaned like they should.That being said, the food is amazing. Sizzling rice soup is my favorite part of the meal, but everything on the menu I’ve ever tried has been delicious.
We found this little restraunt years ago and fell in love with the cuisine. We took my father-in-law who was a vet of several wars, he got a tear in his eye as the food took him back to his overseas memories of good food. He was not one to enjoy many local Aisian restraunts because of being too Americanized, but he absolutely loved it here.
Love this place so much. It's my family favorite since we moved here 3 years ago. Still haven't found a place to top them yet ???? Excellent customer service and food. I call them my friend

Man. Just wow. This place used to be awesome but time has not been friendly. Nice owner so I feel bad being honest, but the food was bad.
I have fond memories of this place but that was 20 yrs ago. Time hasn't been kind it's run down and the food is just ok now.
This place is excellent. The food is always hot and freshly cooked. The prices are very reasonable. I found this place by accident,I was hungry and didn't want to do alot of driving and found they close to me. It was a good ? accident.

I was totally impressed by the service and food. I was looking for a sit down type of Asian cuisine and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Sizzling Rice soup is phenomenal, Try the Mandarin Fried Rice and Pan Fried Noodles.
Best wonton soup in Bakersfield. The couple who run this place are gems, and everyone has their favorite stories because they're so entertaining. People have been coming here for years for lots of reasons.
