I have never had a bad meal when I go eat and Chef Lino is cooking. Anything from street tacos to a filet mignon has been amazing! I highly recommend eating at his spot in the Pour House or his new restaurant downtown, you won’t be disappointed

Chef Lino is the head Chef at the Pour House Bar and Grill on Fuitvale ave.This is a small local bar and restaurant with excellent food and great employees.Great food, strong drinks, great prices and wonderful workers, how could you go wrong.I came in today 6-23-21, for lunch and ordered the Spicy Queso Freso Pasta with chicken. Gosh, I can’t describe how good it was, right amount of kick, spicy, just delicious.Bartender/waitress was Heidi, she did a wonderful job.I will be back very soon.
Go try the jalapeño soup....it is to die for. The daily specials are always amazing. Nice variety and selection on menu.
Great staff ~ Excellent food
Sat a a table for 30 minutes waiting on service. Was looked at several times by the waitresses but nothing. Had to ask the bartender if we could eat at the bar after he asked twice if we had been helped. Food was good though. Service sucked

You can’t get this kind of food just anywhere in Bakersfield. They take a high standard in food and service.. from the stuffed mushrooms (sauce freshly made) to the amazing dinner choice. I had the filet Wellington that was amazing, Jalapeño mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus. With a fresh crisp Riesling wine. Still waiting on dessert. The service is superb. This is a must try and continue to return kinda restaurant. Business casual dress. Takes reservations. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
