Just had lunch with Mike Hart and hands down best carne asada tacos I’ve had in awhile! Sorry no picture,we smoked them with the quickness!! There is a certain Mexican restaurant in town that according to some magazine has the best carne asada tacos in California!!Sorry to disappoint Casa Munoz’s are way better!!! Thanks Joe!!!
Great food, service, and scenery! The staff is super friendly and polite. the food is amazing, and I assume so because it's family owned, so a lot of passion goes into the cooking, the interior design is very home-like and comfy. Truly a diamond in the rough!
I remember going to this place many years ago and remembered how they were always busy. I decided to see how things are these days and if the food has changed much.The outside is pretty aged and the lot needs repair but, I wasn't going to judge a place by exterior appearances. Walking in I was immediately greeted by a friendly face and the smell of good food. So far so good. The menu had a good variety and gave me plenty of options I liked. My friend ordered the Caldo de Res and I always try the beef enchiladas when trying a new Mexican restaurant. I like to judge whether the sauce is home made or the canned variety. It was home made. We were both very happy with our meals. Caldo was about a seven score and enchiladas about an eight score out of ten. Large bowl of Caldo had plenty of meat and veggies. Enchiladas hot and covered in cheese and sauce fresh out of the salamander. Service was very attentive and made us feel welcomed and not afraid to chat. Overall, I can say I'll be happy to consider them next time I'm in the area and hungry. They deserve to be busier than they were.
Great food and service. I had a large pick up order. The staff carried it all out to my car for me. They labeled all our food, and provided me with an itemized receipt.
First off the service was great Judy was attentive to our needs..And the food was so good..Will definitely see me soon.
Margaritas were spectacular and so was the chili verde! We all made fun of another patron who was mean to the waitress.
