Had lunch here with my MIL. We both had the fried catfish baskets w/ garlic fries. It was delicious! The catfish was light and crispy on the outside, with a juicy, fresh-tasting interior. So much better than the frozen stuff! The garlic fries were a garlic-lover's dream. We're looking forward towards our next meal here!
Great place, great staff and super clean, ordered a few things to try out, enjoyed every item.9/10 would recommend
I have mixed ideas about this place. We were looking for a fun new place while visiting Bakersfield so we tried it out. The food was very good. We ordered shrimp in a bag and added the noodles into the bag....very tasty. Also loved the catfish and hushpuppies. The cons: the gal at the register was rude and annoyed when we asked questions....since it was our first time, we were trying to figure it all out; although no one was waiting behind us she kept rushing us. Also, we paid around 70 bucks for our 3 meals and 2 drinks and they do not come to the table to take your order, you order at counter. Anyway, even is the food is great, bad service leaves a bad taste.
It was a great atmosphere food was good but the reason I rate it 4 stars is there wasn’t a waitress attending us and we had to get up and order In the front it can be pricey if you bring a family wouldn’t recommend it to anybody if there picky on the prices but will definitely be back here myself
If I could give it 0 stars I would ….. Starting with the menu options, I have never been to a restaurant where you have to buy the sausage, potatoes and corn separately. On top of being way to expensive the pictures displayed throughout the restaurant according to the cashier are not part of the menu, it’s only to give an idea of the type of food they have. The food was plain and the portions very small, even if you order large ….. very disappointed! Don’t waste your time and money!

Food tasted burnt as if was cooked in burnt old grease!!! customer service was bad tried exchanging with cash to order something else was told I would have to pay extra 20% never heard of In my life. Gave 1 star because a person in our group had the pound of ? and said it was cool will NEVER EVER eat here if I ever pass through again!! Order oysters and oyster poboy

I'm better off fishing for my own crab. Never coming back. For what they charged. Definitely not worth it.
I wish I could put a 1 star here, the Asian lady behind the counter was rude, mean & unprofessional. My first time there & will be my last... Plus the Cajun flavor was too salty
